Blink attacks the same man with her blades from behind Griell.

 Kara steps in to join the fight at the side of Vishka.

 Vishka swings her mace with a grunt.

 Again the Redbrands attack Griell and Vishka.

 Griell takes a terrible wound and returns the strike.

She takes a deep breath and gathers her second wind.

 Blink runs into the room and swivels to attack the ruffian from behind.

 As the man drops Kara swings her blade.

She steps into the room as he drops.

This long room is partitioned into three areas, with iron bars walling off the north and south. Filthy straw lines the floors of those cells, the hinged doors of which are secured by chains and padlocks. A pair of disheveled human women are held in the cell to the south, while a human boy is confined to the north. All are dressed in plain gray tunics and have iron collars fitted around their necks.

A heap of discarded clothing is piled carelessly against the far wall.

 Blink gets to work opening the cells and freeing the prisoners.

 "Thank the gods, I thought we were lost. Can you take us out of here?"

 "That's the plan. Can you walk?"

The three human commoners imprisoned here are Mirna Dendrar and her two teenage children, thirteen-year-old Nars and eighteen-year-old Nilsa. A few days ago, the Redbrands murdered Mirna’s husband, Thel, for defying them. That night, the gang returned and abducted the family from their home in Phandalin. The gang plans to sell the family into slavery.

The party lead Mirna and her family back to the large cavern and make for the secret entrance through which they came.

19 and 24

Entering the cavern they come to the northern bridge, only to be met by a gang of drunken Redbrands coming the other way.

 Blink slices into one of Griells opponents.

She guts him and he falls from the bridge.

 Griell brings her Glaive down toward her remaining opponent.
