I tried to upload a map of the area, but it did not work. Anyway, Gub's Valley is just west of the halfling hamlet known as Hilly Woods.

Gub quickly gobbles down the food Stun offers, stand up, and says, "More food? Come. Follow Gub. Gub will show you his valley."

As you follow Gub over the hills and through the woods, the forest gives way to a beautiful grassy plain.  In the distance, you see a stream of smoke as something large and shiny, like a bluish light.

Eskee says quietly to Maverick and Stun, “just ssso we are all prepared. You two realize that Gub may not take to kindly to usss eliminating the goblin problem.”

“I would agree. We know where they are, we need to somehow figure out a way to do this without Gub. Maybe we sit, rest, and night fall we sneak away while Gub sleeps and handle the goblins. We have to be far enough away where Gub doesn’t hear the commotion. Then we can blame it on the snake people and have Gub help us get rid of them. What do you guys think?”

“Ssso… Your plan is to have Gub lead us to his valley. Then we have to get Gub to leave his valley, but let us ssstay there. Then we take out the goblins and when he comesss back blame it in the snakes. What could possibly go wrong.” Eskee says. 
“Stun, any ideasss?”

”To be fair I have nothing ssso far, beside killing everyone.”

“Your plan sounds great, we already know where everything is let’s do it we can start with Gub, honestly him and the goblins might be to much at the same time. So let’s give him the choice he is eaither with us or against us.”

“I’m not sssaying my plan is good. I’m sssaying we need to think this through.”Eskee says to Maverick with some annoyance in his voice. 
“I do agree that I’d rather kill Gub now than fight Gub and the goblinssss at the same time. Ssstun any input?” Eskee asks. 

Maverick looks at Eskee and says in an overly exaggerated excitement 

“ I have an AWESOME plan, we need a distraction to take him out, and I still have my belt on”

Maverick grabs Stun with one hand

“ I can throw Stun at the Gubs face to distract him, I mean he already doesn’t like Stun, what do we have to loose? Just imagine a flying ball of Stun Fur right to Grubs face we will call it the flying werewolf to the face move”

Maverick now grabs Stun firmly with both hands,

“Trust me Stun, this is a flawless plan, we got this”

and Maverick goes to throw Stun but right as he is about to launch him through the air Maverick let’s go and Just laughs and pats Stun on the head, gives him a little scratch behind the ear and says “There, There” and keeps walking. 

Stun farts silently into Mavericks hands and he didn't notice until he started walking away. He then smelled his hand and noticed the horrible dog fart smell as well as i little piece of dry poop on top the webbing between his fingers.

Stun hides his grin while Maverick suffers the horrible smell 

He responds to Esseks question "Well, after interacting with Gub, i determined that he is, in fact, not truly evil. i would describe him more as a lonley creature that fills the void of not feeling emotions of others by eating all the food he can take from others. He is, in short, sad."

"Maverick had the right angle to play by giving him a sense of purpose by being a hero, and we can still play that angle. If we really wanted too, we can still play that angle and turn him against the goblins, the snakes, and the dragon. We can..."

Stun pause for a moment while he looks at Maverick trying to wipe his hand clean from the smell of Stuns silent fart, noticing him using the grass to pick off the dried piece of poop.

"Well, Maverick can. he is more persuasive than we are towards Gub. We just need to find out what the goblins have in their hide out, use it to convince Gub that the goblins have been working for the snakes and dragon behind his back, and gain his trust and earn his alliance."

"First things first, we need to make up a good reason to go to the goblins hideout with gubs approval. Any ideas?

Stun farts while look at Maverick in the eyes  

Maverick hold his middle finger high up in the air and says laughing 

“I think you missed I spot!”

Eskee let’s put a slight laugh at the interaction between Stun and Maverick. 

“I agree with you Stun. I don’t think Gub is truly evil. If we can turn him against our enemies that would be best. My concern is the he seems to like the goblinsss and we need to eliminate them.” Eskee says.

"What you little ones talk about?" Gub asks. "Come look at Gub's Valley. It pretty. See smoke?" he queries as he points at the line of smoke rising over the treetops. "That where goblins make shiny things for dragon. And see shiny blue circle?" he asks, pointing to the light. "That where goblins come from. See? More coming today, else you not see light."

Stun says "we thinking about how great hero you be in valley and to people! and we want help!"

Stun points to the smoke rising from treetops "What shiny thin they make for dragon?

"Goblins mostly make little statues for dragon," Gub answers Stun, "and noise makers like horns and bells."

“Gub, I have a question. What do you think would happen if someone got rid of the dragon?” Eskee asks. Again talking slightly slower to not draw out his s’es. 

“Gub , you are a good friend. Here”

Maverick gives Gub 4 days of food rations

Gub graciously scarfs the food. "How you mean," he says with a mouthful of food, "get rid of dragon?"

Stun says to Gub "He mean if Dragon no here, what happen to goblin and snake? what happen to Gub?"

"If dragon no here, goblins and Gub be happy," Gub replies. "Snakes take over south part of forest. Gub no like snakes. Snakes maug."

“Gub, you big and brave, you protect us and keep us safe from goblins, make sure they no steal from us or hurt us? What do you do if they steal from you?”
