Gren had started to fidget excitedly at the thought of storming in with swords ablaze with holy light. But with drawn out "aww"he accepted the minor change to plans, and made ready to follow after the duo. "Hey Nate? What do you think are the odds of them just surrendering when we get there?"He asks as the group went, caring not one iota if their two knew friends heard and misinterpreted things.

"I am not that sure about that. They have already attacked." Nate points back at Rey. "With a vantage point, we may be able to get some information on the spire inhabitants and work out what to do from there."
The group finds a small hill across from the Spire, which stands in a valley flanked by cliffs on both sides. Feathergale Spire rises from a pillar of rock high into the air, the tallest point for miles. Built from white limestone and embellished in marble, the spire resembles a gleaming sword that pierces the azure sky. Gusty winds buffet it from all sides, and puffs of air sigh through rock formations in the canyon. The gatehouse faces the cliff on your side, its drawbridge the only apparent point of entry. Tall, wide windows encompass the bottom level of the tower, absent only upon the gatehouse side.A circle of open stalls rings the tower’s foundation where it meets the rock. Above each stall, the sculpture of a hippogriff in flight leaps from the tower’s base.

"That's... Good. S-sort of. I mean. I-I'm not all the good at Skullduggery, you see." Gren admits, though grows quiet near the end as the group spy the tour in the distance. Gren rubs the bottom of his chin in thought. "I hesitate to ask, but I do not suppose any of you happen to know some sorcery for sneaking past?" He asked.

"I can probably scale their walls." Rey says. "Perhaps under the veil of night? Yuron, does your knowledge of the land yield any ways of infiltration?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Yuron will give his head a quick shake "my knowledge mostly pertains to forests but" letting out a sigh "I assume our two best options are the front door or trying to climb it"
18 Perception. Minus the bridge is there another feasible route to take to get in to the tower?
"Not sure we should split up. If we could find a way to all get into the tower." Looking at the structure. "What about those lower windows. If we can get across the bridge then going down might be easier than going up."

From the floor of the valley, you could scale the stone pillar on which the spire stands. It seems to be about 400 feet from the pillar’s base to the lowest level of the spire , and each level of the spire is 20 feet higher than the level below it. The pillar of stone seems to have fairly regular ledges that could be used to help a climber.
(Yuron, if you would like to attract a vulture with rations, make a Nature check.)

"We should-um... Should we tried to hide though?"Gren finally pipes in after snapping out of a stupor. "You know, on the off-chance the rider spots the bait first?" He asks looking to the others. "Also, u-uhm… I think that's a drawbridge. So, if we got spotted on the way over we'd... well... it wouldn't take much for them to just pull it up and sick their foul fowls upon us." Gren pats the palm of his hand with a fist. "Hah! I made a funny! Praise the sun!"Gren immediately T-poses on the spot unless someone stops him.

"Hiding seems like a good idea. The archer is the only one required to be in the open as bait." Nate will look around for a place to hide and scuttle off into cover if there is a place available.
"If things look like they are going wrong I have your back archer. Good luck." Nate will touch his bird shaped totem around his neck and with his other hand create a knarled claw focusing on the vulture Yuron is trying to call over. He will get ready to cast Earthbind if needed.

“Well alrighty, let’s do this, hah!.” Rey climbs a nearby tree and hides in the canopy, planning on jumping down to the bird. He locks eyes with Yuron and gives a thumbs up as if to say “you good?”
Gren seeing the others scramble this way and that tries to do the same with if available; such as the beneath/behind the same tree as Yuron, provided that there is room enough. If not, he tries to find the next best thing with one last quick prayer to Lathander to turn his rays against any that might see him.

Rey and Gren manage to conceal themselves well enough, but Nate is left out in the open with nowhere to hide. Yuron boldly tries to attract one of the vultures. Initially, it seems as though they are not interested, but then one wheels around, and dives towards Yuron, its rider lifting her sword aloft.

Yuron will then take off his bag and rummage through it before pulling out a ration "might need more of these to bride it with as well"
