Orbis, who's been standing around drinking from a bottle he had hidden this whole time, says "Maybe one of the priests in town could."

Leofir was about to stab the man in the jugular after the spell took hold after reluctantly trying to force the guy to talk, sighs with relief that negotiations are concluded.

"Dirty business that. I didn't think that would have ended well for him regardless. Probably for the best. Good idea, Shaa. As Yuron says we should press on. There's probably some other information down here, but do we need to bring his body with us to have a priest talk to...it?"

Leofir is clearly reluctant at soiling his clothing and armor.

Yuron will start to collect his ropes from the corpse. "We could always come back for the corpse later, do we need the whole body?"

Rey inspects the wooden door over the other side f the room, checking if it's trapped or locked.

Rey tries the handle to see if it's locked.

The door swings open. You enter into the next room. This wide, irregularly shaped cavern has a floor of smooth bedrock. Damp dirt and stone, with tree roots protruding here and there, make up the walls. A five-foot-wide tunnel leads off to the north. A couple well-used cloaks and a waterskin are on the floor.

Rey waits for the others in the doorway.

"He had it coming. It was the right thing to do. Let's just hope the other's are more cooperative and keep moving forward. Always moving forward."

If anyone was intently watching Rey in that moment, they would see him straighten his back and a small glint in his eye sparkle as he resumes his stoic facade. He secures his newly found glaive to his pack and pulls out his father's battle axe. Holding it's familiar metallic shape in his hands took him home again, reminding him of the reason he was out in the wild in the first place. He rests it firmly in it's signature position upon his right shoulder and fixes his leather coat back neatly around his shoulders.

"Hey guys, it goes deeper!" he calls back to his allies.

The tunnel actually seems to be going slightly up.

Hrmmmm...

Can Rey check for tracks to determine if the robes have been left as people head out the tunnel to a possible exit, or back into where we currently are?

It's hard to tell where these cloaks have come from. 

Leofir leaves the body behind and goes forward with everyone.

He checks his weapons and takes out his longbow with an arrow at the ready.

"I wonder where these cloaks came from. Any ideas?"

He rummages through them hoping to find a clue.

The cloaks are plain, almost excessively so. Leofir finds marks in the tunnel heading North that are consistent with cloaks trailing along the ground, but the tracks stop where the cloaks are piled up and don't continue after. It's possible they're some sort of disguise.

"You guys take one of the cloaks each and I'll follow. I can cast invisible on myself if need be. "

Yuron will grab a cloak and start to put it on.

Are the cloaks piled in front of a door or something like that? If they are Yuron will try and listen at the door while motioning to the others to be quiet. If there isn't a door Yuron will start to search for one.

"Are they disguises then? Very well, let's give it a try."

Leofir picks one up and puts it on. Since he also has taken a beating and is still hurt, he let's Yuron go back to his normal position at the front.

Rey is still confused by this whole thing and simply watches for now.

From the cave you are now in, you can either go back the way you came or forward through an unblocked tunnel. Yuron finds no other doors. Leofir puts on a cloak. It's a little bit itchy, brown and dirty.

"Shall we proceed forward then?"
