There is a short hallway in front of Leofir that ends in a door. You all gradually feel the magic wear off of you.

Rey easily breaks through the old door. You enter into another chamber. This fifty-foot-square chamber is hewn out of rock. The floor is rough but flat, the walls show the chisel-marks of the original builders, and the ceiling is about ten feet high. Identical stone doors with iron pull-ring handles stand in the middle of the north and west walls. In the center of the room stands a life-sized and lifelike statue of a dwarf warrior wearing a chain shirt, helm, and big boots. He carries a shield on his left arm and a battleaxe in his right hand. The statue has clearly been broken into, roughly, the head and upper torso, lower torso, and legs. These pieces have been reassembled and held together and upright in a stout wooden frame. A dagger along with several coins and gems lie on the floor in front of the statue, surrounded by an ring of fine gravel. A small lantern hangs from a hook in the wall next to the door that you just burst out of. Sitting on a wooden stool by the lantern is a balding, beardless old male human in patched and faded work trousers and a matching tunic. He is idly whittling a stick. He starts as he sees you, throws himself to the floor and begs for mercy. "Please, don't kill me! Do not bring the wrath of the delvers! Please, go!" Larrakh is nowhere to be seen.

"I'm Baragustas Harbuckler, a retired carpenter! Larrakh went that way!" He points to the West. He screams as Rey lifts him off the ground, but he's definitely made of flesh. "Spare me! Please!"

"Wait." Rey says to the group without taking his eyes off the carpenter. He slowly brings him close to his face, breathing all over his face. "What are you doing here?" he growls slowly.
"They put me here to guard the offerings, but you can take them if you want!"

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Leofir says, "You're certainly right about that Rey. On second thought, I'm not going to let these people offer treasure to their evil deities. Hey carpenter, is this statue trapped or will anything bad happen if I take the offering? If there is then Rey eats your face with you still alive."
Leofir quickly moves over to the statue, but takes a quick look at it. Not for traps, but for a closer look. It would be silly to trap an offering in his mind.

in broken condition.
The ring of gravel surrounds the statue at a distance of 5 feet. Offerings left here include 440 cp, 253 sp, and 97 gp. Six small green agates and two polished moonstones are among the coins. There is also a dagger decorated with star motifs and a grip of night-blue leather. Dried blood coats the blade. The name “Reszur” is graven on the dagger’s pommel.

"Should we tie this fool up?" As Yuron turns to the group he will wink "... Or we could save the rope and just kill him where he is."
Leofir says to Yuron, "Let's try to get some information out of him."
Then asks the bald guy, "And who are you? Where did that guy run off to that just barged in here?"
Leofir also eyes the coins and gems, but his gut says to leave them alone.
