He wants to attempt to determine or recall if there's any possibility of a creature which can petrify people in a rocky environment like this. Nature: 19

Regardless, he begins walking in the direction the old carpenter motioned towards. "Wait for us here and we can escort you back home old man." He calls out.

Based on how the statue looks, it is unlikely that it is a petrified creature.

Shaa can't recall anything that might be relevant to this. People tend to name their magical weapons more than they do their non-magical weapons, although there are many exceptions.

"Maybe we should attempt to remain quiet until we're actually in combat with something."

Yuron will look for rope in the room.

If he finds rope he will begin tying the man up. "Now you'll feel how your prisoners felt."

Rey nods at Yuron's suggestion and signal that he is ready to move on.

Stealth 20

There is no rope in the room. Which door do you choose?

Whichever the old carpenter said the robed man went through.

You open the door without too much difficulty and enter into the next room. This big, square chamber has been hewn out of the rock. In the center of the chamber’s west wall is a stone door that has a narrow viewing slit. Beside the door is a set of iron bars bolted into the wall about three feet above the floor. Ten oiled chains are secured to the bars, leading up to a hole bored in the ceiling. The chains are broken hastily and seemingly recently. A half-orc lies prone and unconscious next to the bars.

An eight-foot-tall rectangular stone stands upright in the room’s center. The stone has an inscription on it that’s hard to read from a distance. At the foot of the standing stone, a small human is pinned, face down, by rocks placed atop his arms, legs, and back. He is barefoot and wears ragged clothes.

11 Stealth

Is the small human a child or a small humanoid? If it's a child Yuron will remove the rocks and check if he's conscious.

Rey would like to back Yuron up, and attempt to read the inscription.

"More falling rocks, eh?" Rey chuckles to himself.

Shaa chuckles also. 

"Ye, let's keep an eye out ." 

Shaa moves to check on the half-orc. 

Seeing that Yuron is inspecting the human and the dead half-orc, he maintains alertness for traps about to be sprung upon him.

The inscription on the standing stone reads, in Common: “Displease not the Delvers.”

It's a child. As you lift off the rocks, he croaks "water...".

The half-orc is out cold, but still breathing. He has a mace and a heavy crossbow on the floor next to him.

(You may make an investigation/perception check to discover what knocked out the half-orc.)

Rey looks down at the little guy and helps Yuron attend to any medical needs. (Help action on any medicine rolls)

Seeing that Rey and Yuron are dealing with the kid, Leofir walks over to the half-orc to look around

"I'm pretty sure he's fine looks like he just needs some water. Why you down here kid? what's going on?"

The kid speaks. "It's so cold... I'm thirsty, hungry, tired, and... you guys are scary. The Believers put me here as punishment for being disobedient. I failed to deliver a message from his father, Rotharr Hatherhand, to Ilmeth Waelvur."

Yuron will take some water and food out for him "what was the message you were supposed to deliver?" as he hands him the food and drink.
