"Hey kid, that's ok. Tell us about Rotharr Hatherhand and Ilmeth Waelvur. Who are they? What can you tell us?" Rey says, looking down at the boy.

Leofir kicks the morningstar and crossbow away from the half-orc, then moves away from him to observe what the others are saying to the kid. "Looks like that one was knocked out by rocks..." his eyes widening as he stares off into the distance as if reliving a terrible experience.

However as the others are talking to him, he gives the kid a ration to eat in case he wants it.

"Here, eat. Do you happen to know the story with that one over there?" Pointing to the half-orc.

"Rotharr is my da. Mr. Waelvur makes wagons. They're both believers." The boy shudders.

"... Sorry you said your dad did this to you? We need you to tell us and the city watch everything you know and we can make sure this never happens to you again."

Everything he has said so far he believes to be true.

"Ok... What are we doing now?"

"... You were telling us what you know so we can be best prepared to take on these guys and stop their treatment of you and others like you. Man, those rocks must have hit you hard!"

While the others are questioning the kid, Leofir takes out the scroll taken from the meeting with the guys tied up outside and reads it. The scroll with the symbol on it.

Leofir says, "Ok so what are we doing with this child? We can't take him with us. I'm not quite sure how much more information he's going to have and that guy is probably trapping everything in our path by now."

Shaa looks at Leofir. 

"I really don't know." he shrugs, " Maybe bring him somewhere safe while we continue investigating. Or leave him in a cell? Someone is bound to come back here." 

The scroll is a letter from Waelvur to Hatherhand about what's been happening around town. It mentions something about a delegation from Mirabar arriving in Red Larch soon.

"Maybe we could drop him off with the city watch?"

Leofir says, "Well, we gave him some food and water so he should be ok for now. His 'pa' over there was hit by a rock so he should wake up soon. We can't go back the way we came and I don't want him to potentially get killed if he comes along, which would be pinned on us. He should be ok here for the time being. Basically, I don't want to harm him or incriminate us."

"I'm sure the kid can stay put. We should really be catching up to that guy. He's running for a reason." Rey suggests with a growl.

Leofir says, "Very well let's go get some payback. He owes me a rope." Leofir goes with the group to follow the guy
