Cade points to the dragon mural and addresses the elf. “What’s the deal with them big dragon pic’ure over there then? Is this some kind of shrine here?”

The elf doesn't answer or look up at all, but appears to be in some sort of deep trance.

" She's a priestess of Tiamat, like the elf back in the shop told us.", Gellwin said grumpily.
" Where exactly is this cracked vial now? On the road to Uthodurn?"
You take a look at the box, see the dragon head on the front and start connecting dots in your mind to their worship of Tiamat. Then a small glint of blue catches your eye as well, hiding in the lock area.
Cade walks over to Hulil and the elf. He is now visibly annoyed and towers over the sick dwarf. **”Care to take the vial out of them trapped chest there? So that we can ac’ually ‘elp?”
The elf doesn't respond at all, and Hulil simply shivers. "Ya really think I'm in any condition to try and do anything? There's a reason we left it like that!"
Bones looks confused. "I wasn't aware traps could reset themselves. You said there were only two vials. The broken one that infected you, which I assume is the one in the chest, and one you gave away. If you had already accessed the chest, why reset the trap? More importantly, if you know the mechanism that well, how do we disable it safely?"
(( Please forgive the player if he's confused! It seems like they want us to trigger the trap, but that may not be what you're trying to convey here. If they are, can we get insight checks? ))

Yes

Hulil shook her head and nodded briefly at the chest sitting nearby.
Cade looks at the chest. If it doesn’t look dangerous or obviously locked, he attemps to open it.
(make a perception or investigation check)
Bones, gloves still on, will assist in examining the safety of the chest.
(( Investigation = 7 ))
(Seems okay to you!)
(( Damnit Jim, I am a professional doctor, I know what I'm doing! ))
Perception check: 2
(@VosBeyond I expected Bones to claim he was a doctor, not a professional chest-examiner. :) )
(( Bones was young once! ))

(@gnomes does the blue part look like a switch? or something that is dangerous and might release on opening the chest?)
(It definitely looks like a trap of some sort)

Gellwin came forward, " If you want, get everyone out and then I'll open the chest.......I assume its some kind of poisonous vapour or some such?"
