Cade stands near his companions, just in case violence breaks out or they have to make a run for it. “Ah, she’s missin’ somethin’ she is.” He comments in a deadpan voice.
Bones steps forward and addresses the woman. "I am Doctor Silas McRoy. I'm going to hazard a guess that you are somehow linked to ancient artifacts, and that the crystal you speak of was one of them. And, I would suppose, someone stole it from you? Now you float around harassing everyone heading towards the ruins you call home in hopes they'll have it. How am I doing so far? That would make you, what? A revenant? An ancient caster out of touch with reality? Whatever you are, don't you reckon it makes more sense that whoever stole it would know better than to come back? So, instead of shrieking at us like a madwoman, describe who stole, under what circumstances, when, and from where. And, a description of the item stolen and how to get in contact with you. Then, if we come across something, we'll know it when we see it and be able to give you any updates. Sound fair?"
As you all watch and attempt to communicate with her, a sudden mist envelopes your boat and you hear a soft thump, as if someone was boarding. Another shriek rings out, this one a whole lot closer than last time! "GIVE ME MY CRYSTALLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
(I need everyone to roll initiative and mention your first action! DM note: the entire area is obscured by fog/mist currently, so unless you have a way to see through it, all attacks are made at disadvantage currently)

Petros watches with amusement, oblivious to the fog and thumping, “Why do we waste our time with this madwoman? Captain, let us keep moving along.”
He will prepare cast Faerie Fire centered on the woman, only if she attacks. If she is not within 80 ft, he will use the side of the boat as cover and uses a dodge action.

Bones would cast Guiding Bolt at Level 2 on the figure. ( Assuming disadvantage, I'm including two rolls to hit with a spell attack below. If not disadvantage, ignore the second roll.)
Spell Attack Roll 1: 9 Spell Attack Roll 2: 24
If I hit, it does 5d6 radiant damage and gives all other attackers advantage until the end of my next turn due to dim glittering on the target.
The captain grunts. "The damned lady has been patrolling these waters for years now! Always the same thing too!"
While your initial attacks go wide almost surely due to the fog getting in the way, everyone is suddenly hit with the faerie fire, and you all can see one of the other passengers turn around and clap his hands, and immediately a gust of wind rushes over the boat, clearing the air. In the middle stands the lady, in barely covering black scraps, dark raven black hair and deep blackened eyes. She begins tracing something in the air before thrusting her hands out, and a sickening wave washes over you all. The flames prepped fly towards her but she is quick to step aside, making them only just barely singing some of her cloth scraps and making her hiss with annoyance.
(Everyone needs to make a constitution saving throw. As well as their next rolls and attacks)
Cade, Bones(?) and Gell, you feel something deathly sickening wash over you for a brief moment, but manage to steel yourselves immediately. Gellwin your flames catch her off guard this time, singing her body with magical fire, though it does not seem to be quite as effective as you might have hoped it would. However, Cade, she is quick to dodge your blade this time, making you only swing through some of her black scraps.
Petros, the deathly wave washes over you too, and unable to bear it, you feel both nauseous and weak afterwards, feeling your life essence be drained from you some.(You are cursed. Your maximum hp goes down by 3. This effect can be undone by a greater restoration or a long rest.)
In return, the dark lady rushes past all of you, like a ghostly flash, and you all feel a tugging on your clothes and bags. You hear her muttering about the crystal as she whooshes by each of you. (This time make a wisdom saving throw. On a 10 or less you are stunned for 1 round, otherwise no effect. Her action does not provoke an attack of opportunity by the way)

(( Wisdom Save = 8 ))
Unsure what he is seeing, but certain the movements of this being are unnatural, Bones yells out. "In the name of Lathander, god of birth and renewal, I repel you!" (( Channel Divine: Turn Undead - any undead within 30 feet must make a DC 12 WIS save, no effect if they save, they run as far from me as possible for one round if they fail. ))
The dark lady glares at Bones and snarls for a moment, then let's out a faint oof as Cade's sword finally strikes true, although it is hard to tell how badly she was hit. She begins to rear up for another attack, when she spies another passenger coming up from below deck, oblivious to what's going on up top apparently. She suddenly locks eyes with the half-elven boy and rushes toward him in a puff of mist, grabbing him by the throat. "GIVE ME MY CRYSTAL!!!" She screams at him, leaving him utterly terrified in appearance...but surprisingly reaches into his pocket and pulls out a deep red gemstone. In a flash both the woman and the boy disappear from the boat and reappear on her darkened ship. In your minds you hear:
"Many times and many bones, all my life now made of stones. One by one they came and fell, one by one til I am well. In ice and snow my heart still beats, one more gem to rest complete."
Another cloud envelopes your boat, and by the time it clears, the lady and her ship have vanished. "By Bell's Hells this is the last trip I make up hear until someone deals with that witch!" the captain clamors and stomps off to find a strong drink.

" Sorry. No crystals here."
