Gellwin conveys to Bones all of his symptoms, allows all examinations and that he is certain that he caught it from the trap that had been laid on the chest and that the others haven't been exposed, " Should have stood further back.", he chuckles.
He seems quite calm and in good cheer but adamant that if only enough cures are found to treat some of the afflicted that he will not take it himself but rather they have it.
Morgo shrugged a bit. "No one really an expert per se, but all of us have seen it at some point. But unless y'all are carrying it around and releasing spores there ain't much to worry about, can't catch it by touching someone. As far as anyone knows, just inhaling the spores does it. People get tired, chilled and those blue veins appear. They slow down little by little too, until they just can't move anymore. Then they die." She looked grim at the last part. "How did you get it? Is that why you're here?"
Petros speaks up, and puts it simply. “We’ve been investigating this disease and went to a bandit hideout. They had a two vials of the disease, one of which probably caused it. We are here because there are some ruins which may contain the cure, do you know of any ruins?”
Morgo suddenly laughed a bit. "Yer kiddin' me, right? North of 'ere is where the great ancient city of Aeor fell from the sky!" She laughed heartily. "What ruins! That was a good one! We could use some more humor like that up here!" She gleamed a twinkle in her eye at Petros.
(The magic of Aeor easily surpasses current knowledge of magic, so finding anything from the lost city is considered extremely valuable. Unless you lived under a rock your whole life you would have at least heard about Aeor and the crash site, possibly rumors of famous artifacts found there. That's why Morgo is giving you a hard time about it. :) )
"Aye, the sickness definitely comes from Aeor. Why? Beats me. There is a cure, though, but limited. A milky liquid kept in gold vials. We've found some throughout the ruins." She shifts on her feet for a moment. "Feel free to ask around for anything else you might need. We don't got much here but we try to help if we can. I need to go and get ready for an expedition myself. Good luck to ya!" Morgo exits the tent and travels back through the settlement.

"May I ask what you mean by "but limited," limited how?"
"Right. Not what I was thinking, but a fair point none-the-less." Bones looks to the others. "I think we should head out as soon as possible. I feel a countdown has begun for all of us, not just Gellwin here."
“Aye, yes it has.” Cade nods. “Cannot help noticin’ that she didn’t tell us about Orvo. Or is Orvo the professor? I’m a bit confused, to be ‘onest,”
Cade puts his coat back on and heads out to the village to obtain some provisions for dinner. If he finds them, he will cook a meal as hearty as possible on the fire.
”Gettin’ to them ruins. Not gonna be easy, will it be? We need a guide at least. Or be’er a mode of transportation.” Cade smiles.
Gellwin frowned, " You say you've found other vials of the cure before? You wouldn't happen to have any stored around here? We just need four.......maybe five...."
" Yes, if we are heading to the ruins a guide would be useful, probably can't wait too long if I'm to be of much use to the others."
(Just fyi, this is less of a village and more like a bare bones outpost. But asking around it isn't hard to find Orvo's tent. Don't forget you were presented with a place to stay if you want to check it out too)
(@gnomes you are talking about the tent that Morgo showed us, right? i assumed we were in it and Cade made some food there)
Before night falls, Cade heads outside and asks for directions to Orvo’s tent. He steps inside, takes down his hood and looks around.”Gree’ins’, I am lookin’ for one Orvo Mustave.”
(Yes, and there are things in the tent for you to use if you wanted.)
As you approach Orvo's tent, a campfire burns in front of this small tent, whose flaps are open. Inside the tent sits a young dwarf whose face is scarred as though scratched by a large claw. A shortsword is casually laid across his lap as he warms his outstretched hands. "Aye, I be Orvo! Welcome to Syrinlya! What can I do for ya!"
“Well met, Orvo. I am Cade Speck. My companions and I have travelled from Palebank Village. I ‘ear you know a dwarf named Urgon, no? I am afraid I got some bad news there. Urgon died of the Frigid Woe.” Cade pauses for a moment.
”We are ‘ere to find some cure for the woe. ‘eard you have been to Aeor, ain’t that right? Can you help is to get there?”
Orvo's face fell almost immediately as soon as he heard the news. "Ah no, not Urgon! We were explorers together, found the ruins of Salsvault up north of here about 200 miles in the Thin Sheets. I don't remember exactly where it is now, we followed some ice mephits that seemed drawn to it, so perhaps if you get up that way it shouldn't be too hard to find. There's more of the cure up there too, I just haven't been able to get myself out again. We only managed to see a few rooms before some animated armor suits chased us back out. But the ruins were really well preserved, probably because of some leftover magic that held it together or somethin', probably some lab of some kind for their magic research." He let out a long sigh. "We didn't know what was in the vials though, we just took what we saw and ran. I sold my share to the Buyer here, and Urgon wanted to hang on to his until later."
Orvo shook his head. "Not that I know of. Me and Urgon were the only ones up there and we just grabbed a bit and left, but I suspect there's more in the lab." He suddenly got a bit of a grin. "The fastest way is to start walking! Just a basic straight shot up north as I recall. Bring plenty of rations and clothing though, and watch yer step when ya get to the thin sheets."
“The thin sheets? Ice mephits? what are these then. If ye don’t mind me askin’?” Cade thinks for a moment. “Master Orvo, can ye guide us to Salsvault?”

“Do you all ‘ere think that the Frigid Woe comes out of Aeor? That’s what we ‘eard at last. Anybody ever talk about a cure for it?”
Cade busys himself with making a fire in the pit. When the flames have cought, he eagerly rubs and holds his hands over the heat.
“Sounds like Aeor folks made the curse. Why though? And did they ma’e a cure?” He asks nobody specifically.

Gellwin checked to make sure he wasn't already dead.

" So theres definitely no vials of the cure already back here or in storage somewhere?", Gellwin queried.
" Whats the fastest way to get to this ruined lab?"
Orvo shook his head. "Not that I know of. Me and Urgon were the only ones up there and we just grabbed a bit and left, but I suspect there's more in the lab." He suddenly got a bit of a grin.
