You approach Haedrig at the counter, and Tyrath asks "Do you have any potions of healing for sale?"
He sighs, then his expression becomes more solemn. "Aye, but first I need to ask you all a favor. See, there is a swarm of rats in the cellar, that keep eating the food. It's costing a lot of me hard earned gold. If you would kindly take care of them, I'll give you 20 gold and 2 potions of healing, each. I figured since you all are off to slay Cathrax, you may be willing to help this old dwarf out."
Haedrig's face goes from solemn to beaming, after hearing the news. "Oh thank you thank you! Here's a key to the cellar. I'll give you your reward when you get back."
He hands you a very rusted key and then you approach the cellar door.
After your plan of what is going to happen, you insert the key into the lock. When you turn it, the key snaps in half, and falls out, You have to find another way into the cellar, as things are already not going the way you thought.
Roll an athletic check (type "Athletic" followed by a d20 roll. In the "add to result" box put your "Athletics" skill modifier, which is on your character sheet.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
You run as fast as you can, and hit the door with all your might, causing it to topple over, cracking and breaking into 3 large pieces. Inside, you see 2 separate swarms of giant rats. They are all surprised at the sudden intrusion. (Surprised Creatures skip their first turn)

I turn the key to the cellar door and it squeals as I slowly open it. A rat chitters and I hold back a scream as it crawls near my feet.
