Stravini looks at the werebear then at the cub, then at the werebear. Stravini decides not to provoke the werebear by eating it's cub. "I found *click* your young. Want me to put it out of itssss misssery?"
Despite Brom’s blank stare, he’s genuinely appreciative of the fact that Stravini at least asked, first. “No. I’ll take the cub. But let’s be on the look out for its mother or siblings, in case they’re nearby.”
(occ: @DeadOnes…I genuinely laughed out loud at your last few posts. Well played! 😂)
Brom approaches the bear cub, looking for tracks or other clues of danger and how the cubs leg may have been broken (ex. a fight,, fall from tree, other). With palm out, he moves closer, so the cub can gather his scent, before picking him up. He also picks up a short sturdy branch that he breaks in two. In combination with a spare leather strip he pulls from his pouch, he gently sets the cubs leg and quickly binds it in a makeshift splint until they can make camp and take a closer look at the cubs condition.
You notice the sent of wolves on the wind. You can also smell 3 bear carcasses. You know that mother bears tend to have 2-3 cubs at a time, so it is safe to assume that the carcasses are the mother, and two of the cubs siblings.
Brom conveys to Stravini and Zade what he believes occurred. And, the lingering danger that may still exist. “We should keep moving to avoid unwanted attention.” With that he turns and begins walking in the same direction of the village Zade was directing them towards, carrying the bear cub.
Stravini nods and points to the trees. “Ooh waait fooor usss aall. *click* Hmmm..”

Stravini is unable to recall any safe place for the bear, for both she and the were-cat can climb trees, but a were-bear couldn't.
Zane might know of a place they can head to for medical attention.

Zade can heal one person right now with a Cure Wounds spell.

And yes, I know of a nearby village, about one days walk from here. It's called Treechar. We should get moving.

Per 7
Stravini & Brom recognize it as some kind of animal suffering.
Brom, you would recognize it as
a bear cub.

As you peer out of the bushes, you see a bear which appears to have it's front left leg broken.

Can you make a perception check for signs of the injury causation, and a medicine check for making the splint.

You succeed in both.
