(I forgot about my Great Weapon Fighting style, although it didn't matter that time)
Tor is able to land both hits with the flat of his blade, but finds that Ace is able to twist and move so that they land with far less force than they would.
Ace retaliates with a blinding flurry of lunges with his glaive, catching him three times with the blade. (Tor takes 11 damage). (I don't know if Ace is using the flat or the edge of the blade, Tor is using the flat.)
Reaction: Riposte -21: On one lunge Tor is able to spin out the way and bring his sword around to take advantage of the opening. 11dmg if it hits.
Tor smiles. He can tell that Ace is taking this seriously. That's good. And the lad's cockiness had some skill to back it up, which was a pleasant surprise. The joy of the fight is in him now, and he bursts into his own flurry of blows.

(You know you can use that dice icon in the top right of the screen to do the code for you, right?)
On Tor's reaction, Ace once again uses Warding Maneuvers: 7 + 18AC = 19AC
The reaction attack hits, but only deals 7 damage.
Ace is hit by two of Tors flurry attacks, taking 16 damage.
That is 23 damage in total.
Ace's cockiness once again returns to his eyes and stature, due to the adrenaline of the spar. He is using the sharp end. Ace never goes easy on someone, even during a spar, for that was what he was taught. If his opponent doesn't wish to use the shard end, that is their choice. He believes he isn't obliged to comply with that, if there was no previous agreement upon it.
Ace jumps back, running 20 ft. away. He than throws the glaive in the ground, pulling two knifes from his belt. He then launches them at Tor.
Attack: 6 Damage: 5
Attack: 17 Damage: 6
He then proceeds to whistle, the same whistle he used to call Victor back at camp.
He calls out to Tor "I hope you don't mind, but I do my best fighting on a horse. I was practically raised riding them."
Tyrel had finished casting the sending, taking a seat against one of the far walls. staying far enough away he would not be in any danger. He looked at the sparring match, tracing the motions of their weapons. as if trying to ascertain the quality of their weapons. giving an idle cheer, not directed at either of them. "Woohoo" He didnt feel like there was any mortal danger thus seeing this simply as entertainment.

(The dice roller sadly doesn't seem to accommodate rerolling 2s for Great Weapon Fighting, so I've just been putting it in manually).
(Just noticed that as glaives are two-handed Ace would not have been holding his shield, but it's done now and I don't think it would have made a difference to the rolls we've had).
Tor manages to get in a few hits, but Ace is fast, and not all his attacks land.
The first knife comes as a surprise and leaves a deep gash in Tor's arm, but he is able to deflect the second knife with his blade.
"Lucky for you I'm being paid to keep you in one piece," he says with a rare smile. "By all means mount up. I want to see what you're capable of."
He waits patiently as Ace swings up into the saddle, then charges forward again.

(A glaive is a melee weapon, therefore Warding Maneuver still works)
Ace mounts Victor, using Warding Maneuver once again on the first attack: 18 + 7 = 22AC
He takes 8 damage.
He then grabs two knives out of Victor's saddles, readying them for an attack.
He does a maneuver on the horse, where he turns on the horse, so that he is basically sideways on the horse. He uses two-weapon fighting, and with his extra attack, is able to attack 4 times.
(Warding Manoeuver is fine, I meant that Ace's AC includes +2 from his shield, which he can't hold at the same time as the glaive, or while two weapon fighting. That said, I've just realised that Tor is still wearing his Cloak of Protection after he said no magic items, oops, really we should both be at 16. From now on I'll say that the Cloak is off and he's at 16 AC.)
(I won't be able to do Tor's turn until later now, apologies.)
Two of Ace's attacks are able to get through Tor's defences as he slashes downwards from the saddle, blades shining golden in the afternoon sun. (11 dmg to Tor)
Tor attempts to reach through to hit Ace with the flat, but will follow it with a slash downwards on Ace's leg.
Siegfried's prayers are briefly interrupted when he hears the sound of steel on steel. He looks over in alarm... then in greater alarm when he sees Tor and Ace locked in combat... then relaxes again upon recognizing it as a training session.
He smiles quietly to himself and returns to his prayers.

Confident that the message has been sent and all is well, Oloven sits next to Tyrel to watch the match. After a while he calls out to them in confusion "How exactly are you two scorin' this match, boys?"
(Sorry to be a rules lawyer but extra attack only applies to the main attack action. It doesn't apply to your two-weapon fighting bonus action attack, so you should only be attacking three times, not four. The bonus action is an attack, but it's not an Attack Action.)
(That's exactly what all this type of 'training/sparring' is for, figuring stuff out. DnD has a lot of rules flying about and sometimes you just need to try it all. Eg. I've just realised I should have had an attack of opportunity when Ace moved away to call Victor over. It's all things to remember for actual fights.)
Ace moves the horse in a way that Tor didn't know could be done, and both his whack and slice miss their mark.
He then wheels the horse round again for another flurry of jabs, but Tor is ready this time, and manages to duck or deflect all three attacks.
He raises his sword out in front defensively, stating "Once more. Try to get through. Show me what you've got."
Ace takes Tor's dodge as weakness, and laughs in triumph. "I've got you now." This is when he reveals his trump card. *reference to almost any good anime ever*. He grabs a crossbow from the side of the horse he hasn't let you see the entire fight. You didn't even know he had a crossbow. Ace sends his horse galloping as far away as possible (40, so I am now out of range of your melee attacks next turn.), and aims his crossbow at you.
Ace gallops away, then turns. Tor positions himself for the charge he expects, but...
fwip, fwip
Two crossbow bolts thud into him. He staggers a little, then stands straight. He nods in Ace's direction.
"I'm impressed." He sheathes his sword. "You've been trained well." He pulls out the bolts, wipes them on the grass to remove the blood, then walks over to Ace and holds them out to return them.
