This place looks lively, and we see the dwarf being tossed out, rather than the events leading up to the dwarf being tossed out... Let's give it a try Prisca, please? The elf asks with a smile that was almost human...
(ooc: 33 GP each from the Rats' Lair?)
(ooc: Level up = long rest? or spending time with a mentor? somewhere in between?)
DM: level up on long rest, RP a bit for Subclass additions, please DM me what class your going to take and I'll tie it in.
As far as the gold my notes say 299 total has been given out so far.
I'll be out for a work trip next few days. I'll move the story along on Thursday. Feel free to RP lunch and the market. No magic items, you can find all standard equipment and basic potions you need at the standard 5e prices. I'll let you know if you buy something I'm not ready for you to have.
"Don't judge a place by its cover, besides I'd rather go to place where the bouncers dealt with trouble than ignored it. And sometimes it's free entertainment! Plus the chicken skewers in spicy plum sauce are excellent!"
Jairo leads the group in and finds a table to one side. She picks a seat with its back to the wall where she can observe anyone approaching the table.
"I'll get a round of ale in as well, my way of saying thanks for patching me up and watching my back."Waving over a server, Jairo orders combo platter, chicken skewers and a round of ale. "Foods cooked fresh so take a bit to come, but to be honest there's places around here where the service is fast but the food is... well you need a strong constitution let's put it that way." With a grin she glances about "in any case, gives us a chance to get to know each other a little, so why did you both sign up for this adventure?"
Thank you, Jairo, I'll get the 2nd round of ale, and to the waiter I'll have veggies greens and smoked salmon...She sets 2gp on the table
As for me - I've just graduated from the Tower and spotted the message on the Notice Board that his Grace the Duke was looking for some assistance with some discretionary work? How about you, Prisca?
Prisca heartily drinks the ale and orders some steak. "I joined this adventure in hopes of helping the people of Westterra and gaining a hefty amount of coins for personal reasons"
After everyone finishes eating. "Shall we head off to the market"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Here's to make a hefty amount of coin then!" Jairo raises her freshly delivered tankard of ale and continues to make small talk with the others throughout the meal.
"Absolutely, I know somewhere we can get some armour and arrows from, follow me" she matches Lia's 2 gold pieces to cover the rest and she leads them to the market area.
Jairo leads the group to a slightly more seedy but still respectable shop owner, giving him a re-enactment of their epic adventure against the monstrous talking rats the night before. The shopkeeper doesn't really believe her story but it's well told and agrees to a 10% discount plus in this area it's better not to ask too many questions.
With this she buys 60 arrows and a forgery kit for (3+15)*0.9 = 16 gold pieces and 2 silver.

While the party is in the market, yall notice a halfling slipping through the crowd cutting purses. Jario and Prisca get too focused on the one across the market to see a second picking the pocket of 1 jairo. Lia at the last second turns back to the group to say something seeing the pick pocket. With a 23 you are able to warn jairo in time.
As the would be thief goes for Jairo's pocket, Lia's call makes Jairo instinctively jerk away.
She growls quietly so only the halfling can hear:
"The upright man will be displeased."
She then shoves him on his way before straightening and smiling at the other two.
"It seems our new found fame and fortune has been noted, perhaps we should move to the more prosperous market area if you two still require things. Lia, thanks for keeping an eye out."
Jairo thinks to herself "Foolish, you should of known there would be footpads about." She shakes her head to clear her thoughts and follows the others her hand not far from her coin purse in case of a second attempt.
On second thought, for what I'm wanting, I had best look elsewhere...and heads out with the others looking for a stationary shoppe with better security.
You're welcome Jairo. My claws guard your back, while your claws guard mine...I have an idea - would you be able to make me a decoy copy of my spell book?
"Hmm, possibly, I'm happy to give it a try... I usually do papers rather than whole books."Realising this may incriminate her, she adds "I'm sometimes asked to replicate old documents and such that have faded with time, hence the kit I bought. We'll need to find a quiet space for me to work so if we have time before our rendezvous this evening I can do it then, else I can try before we head to bed?"
She tilts here head side to side thinking. "If we purchase a cheap book about the same size and weight as your spell book that would make the job much easier."

After getting caught and hearing the threat. The halflings eyes get wide in recognition. After being released the halfling bolts off.
As the party leaves the market Jario you see a thieves cant message.
