The party make the two day journey back to Phandalin without incident.

DAY 17 THE TRIBOAR TRAIL

They arrive in Phandalin on the afternoon of the second day.

Dragon 10

 Thomas heads back to report in to Sildar.

 "These Orc problems are growing more must be done."

 "I agree, but what? While the dragon remains they will persist."

 Toblen welcomes them all in to the inn.

"There is a fellow looking for you." 

 "Name's Don-Jon Raskin, I hear y'all been makin a name for yourselves around these parts?"

 "We can hold out own."

 "In fact Anders here quite enjoys holding his own. How can we help you?"

 Rasking chuckles while Anders blushes.

"I oversee a mine, a days march east of here. With the locality all riddled with Orcs and a dragon flying over head I'd happily part with some coin for an escort."

 "How much coin?"

 "Straight to the point, I like that. Oh I'd say One Hundred should cover it..."

 "Sounds fair, we'll take the job."

 "Shouldn't we ask Thomas first?"

 "He'll be fine. We are taking initiative."

Back at the Lords Hall...

 "If trouble continues to brew we may need a safe refuge."

He rolls out a map on the table and points out a marker to the south. "This is Axeholm, an ancient Dwarven refuge. I would have you clear it and make it safe. The Orcs continue to grow in number and should the dragon grow overly bold we have no serious means with which to fend it off. Axeholm could save many lives if it were safe and defended."

 "A sensible plan. We will take the job."

Thomas returns to the Inn...

 "I have more work for us."

 "I found us a job!"

 Toot giggles nervously.

"We took the initiative."

 Thomas and Elandra spend the evening talking through how they can complete both jobs.

They decide to complete the escort work first, leaving at first light and then heading directly south to Axeholm once Raskin is safe back at his mine.

"Sildar will not be pleased with the delay, but I suppose it can not be helped."
