He spies one of the dwarves keeping watch and makes himself known. (In Dwarfish) "We have returned with silver, are you all well?"

The dwarves are relieved to seem them, as is old Raskin.

 "Thought you might have cut ya losses. Can't say I'd blame ya."

 "A deal is a deal friend."

 "Let's clear this place out shall we?"

The miners lead them further into the mine, showing them a roughly drawn map.

Rat-Infested Cave

As they move out they are confronted by a small group of giant rats nesting in a cave area to the north.

Round 1 : 5 v 6

 The rats swarm forward.

 They decimate most of the rats leaving only one alive.

The part make short work of the remaining beast and move on.

Sleeping Quarters

They make their way south and then westward through the tunnels before moving to the north once more where they find a door on the eastern wall. 

 "These would be the miners sleeping quarters."

They open the door to confirm that the cave holds six wooden cots. All of them empty.

Dead End

Exploring the tunnels to the west they come to a dead end. Leaning against the back wall of this tunnel is a dead human miner with a pickaxe. Inspection of the corpse reveals that the miner was stabbed to death.

 Feldoran takes the pickaxe.

"These shapeshifters will pay for this." he promises.

Equipment Storage

The part backtrack and then continue westward once more, heading for the were rats main bastion. The tunnel opens up into a new chamber.

Picks, shovels, and wheelbarrows are stored here.

 "We should be getting close now." Elandra whispers.
