"Enogh of this nonsense maan." A disembodied spirit appears next to the scarecrow, and whispers painful distorted melody around it. (Dissonant Whispers WIS DC 14 dmg 6)

     Once more Lash cracks his whip out towards the scarecrow, as before a bream of crackling eldritch energy travels the length of the whip and snaps off at the telltale crack and streams forth towards the creature...

The Scarecrow is unaffected by Klaes spell and Lash whip strike only tears a small piece of straw out of the creature’s head.

Chumba moves up to engage the scarecrow and smashes at it with his oversized drumstick!

Chumba’s blow drops the scarecrow to the ground.

Gael's hands shake as an unnatural fear takes a firm grip on him, the dwarf wishes to be away from all this madness and back to his tavern, but he knows that he has a job to do so while taking a couple of steps back, he takes out his pipe and blows a discordant note in the direction of the nearest scarecrow.

Vicious Mockery Wis 13 4 psychic damage and have disadvantage on the next attack roll

Wisdow save to fight off the fear effect: 18

(Was there just the one scarecrow animate, or are we fighting all four--is combat over?  If not, who is next?)

As far as the party is aware there was only one moving scarecrow. There are however three unmoving scarecrows lined up against the wall.

Chumba:

With the only animate scarecrow disassembled, Chumba moves over to the others and starts yanking them apart—just in case they are faking it.

     Lasciel is content enough to watch Chumba massacre the inanimate scarecrows and watch with his whip at the ready in case they decide to animate after all...

Klaes investigates the scarecrow that was attacking the party, or what's left of it, to see if he can understand what animated it. Perhaps, it's some kind of restless spirit?

Gael, sword at the ready, stands next to Lasciel as Chumba destroyes the remaining scarecrows.

As Chumba starts ripping the scarecrows appart the third one along eyes open.

”We’ve got a live one!” alerts Chumba to the others.

(Unarmed damage if needed from the initial ripping he was doing while it was inanimate=5 damage)
