Savage Harvest- adventure thread

"Yes, we wouldn't want to miss the dancing tonight right? So is that it? Is the auction over?" Sasha says, looking at her friends. "In that case I will go and do some shopping. Shall we meet up at the Gilded Horseshoe and then go to the Ivy mansion together?" She asks, getting up and getting ready to leave the auction.

Yeah, good idea! I'm going to some shopping too!

William will try to find: Healer's Kit (5 gp), Portable Ram (4 gp), Manacles (2 gp) and Forgery Kit (15 gp) if those prices are ok.

Sasha is going to shop a nice dress to wear at the dance.

Luke reminds the gang "Don't forget this money is for the town to help get through the year...don't spend it all"

Gerty looks on as her friends excitedly get up and start talking about shopping and dancing and all that, and she gets a bit nervous.  She doesn't know anything about that stuff.  She gets up from the stands and looks around, feeling a bit lost.  "Guess I'll walk around a bit.  Meet you all back at the Gilded Horseshoe."

Aaron would lean over and say, "Yeah - we present our livestock and then the fast speaking man is the auctioneer. He'll set a starting price, and then people will shout out the prices they would pay for the livestock, and the highest price to be shouted out wins. The paddles have a number that you raise so they can identify who is doing the bidding. Easy enough, right?"

 Should be good, the shop keeper gives you a special look when ringing up the manacles and portable ram…lol

William tells the shop keeper Hey! No kink shaming!

"Well it sounds easy when you put it like that, but it is all over so quickly and I can hardly even hear what the fast speaking man says. Promise me to help me out when we're in Mirabar." Sasha says to Aaron.

"Hey, Gerty, come with me, please, please, please, I really need some help with deciding what to get." Sasha says with a pleading smile, taking Gerty's hand, tugging her along to buy a dress and maybe some other stuff.

Loran gets back from checking on his flock to notice everyone setting out to do things without him. With nothing else to do, (And no money to shop with anyhow.) Loran will wander back to the Gilded Horseshoe and relax a bit. Tommorow should be a busy day after all.

Luke heads back to the Gilded Horseshoe as well after reminding them not to spend too much of the towns money "Hey Loran wait up!"

Gerty laughs and lets Sasha tug her along, wondering what she has gotten herself into.

William joins Luke and Loran back at the Gilded Horseshoe.

"Hey, I'm sorry Rik couldn't come with us." Sasha says to Gerty as they are away from the boys. "Perhaps she will be able to join us on some adventure in the future though." She adds, laying an encouraging hand on Gerty's shoulder as the two girls make their way through the crowd outside the auction area, aiming for the vendors selling dresses. "I think we should allow ourselves to have some real fun tonight Gerty, starting by getting some nice dresses." She says, smiling warmly at the dwarf.

Gerty gives Sasha a wistful smile when she mentions Rikaria.  "Yeah, but I am thrilled for her.  I can only imagine what she is learning back home under the correct tutelage.  I mean, here we are learning on the fly, can you imagine how good we'd be if we had actual classes?"  she heads on with Sasha wondering what the girl has in mind until she mentions getting dresses for both of them?? "What?  Sasha!  I don't wear nice dresses... plus I doubt they'll have any in dwarf size."

"Well I haven't ever worn a nice dress before either Gerty but it has to be a first time for everything, and I have the sense we are about have a lot of that in the near future." Sasha says with a warm laugh, leaning down to give the dwarf a quick hug. "I sincerely hope they will have dresses that fit you too or I will express my deep disappointment with their selection." She says firmly, taking Gerty by the hand, leading her on to the vendors area.

Sasha and Gerty browse the various booths and finally find a booth called "Wee the people" that caters to the smaller folk. Lots of nice things for Dwarves, Haflings and Gnomes.  Gerty is able to pick out a nice, conservative,  yet beautiful woolen dress. A practical design the looks great, but can be worn while doing things without being a bother. It only costs 1 gp.

"Hey, try it on Gerty, I'm sure it will look lovely on you. Oh, I won't find anything as beautiful as that." Sasha says as they find the conservative, yet beautiful woolen dress for the cute young dwarf.
