William collects his silver coins, hoping it was impressive enough for the Master Wizard. He has a nice dinner and chat away with the people at the table. He doesn't forget his friends and shows them the (iron) grass blade. Will has a bit too much wine and doesn't notice Luke stealing his leftover dessert. He was keeping an eye out for Rikaria, but as the party went one he completely forgot about her. William quickly falls asleep when his head hits the pillow.
Your wagons are loaded to fill with potatoes, cheese and grains from some of the other farms in Coop. Sashas sheep seem just as excited for the adventure as you all are and the cows are just chewing on grass, not really caring where they are at or going. Just as you are about to part a Rikaria comes running up to you with two small bottles in her hand. She holds them up in the air as soon as she gets to you and excitedly exclaims “ Lady Harpell sent me to give you these, they are healing potions in case you get into a bind. They taste really good, like cherry brandy! I helped make them last night. One of the older apprentices showed me the secret..”
her pride is evident and she eagerly hands them to Gerty. “ I can’t wait to hear all about this trip when you return and can’t wait to show you the amazing magic skills I am bound to have by the time you get back. Stay safe, watch out for Bugbears, Bandits and bidderboos…I love you all and she blows you a kiss before she heads back to the Ivy Mansion, trying her best not to let her tears show.
Aaron waves as well, "Thanks! Best of luck with your training Rika, I'm sure you'll do just great! So long!" With that he spurs his horse into motion, pulling along one of the carts with him and following Luke's lead.
Sasha too waves farewell to Rika, wishing her good luck with her studies. She then turns to skip and dance, playing a merry tune on har small flute, making her flock of sheep follow her obediently as they slowly leave Longsaddle behind them.
The morning sun sparkles through orange and yellow leaves, and the crisp morning air filled with the energy of possibility. As one, you move onto the long road with animals carefully managed and wagons expertly driven….you each take a moment to look back at the town and then press forward into destiny.
you start to pass the outlying farms on the long road, there are still men in the fields, finishing up harvesting of the remnants of crops. One of these men in particular stands out to gerty. A broad shouldered, blond man with large sideburns glances over his shoulder at the youthful caravan and stock. Along his back from shoulder to hip is a nasty looking white scar, he returns to his work, humming some farmers tune as you continue down the road.
Gerty gives Rikaria a big smile and thanks her for the potions, "I'm sure these will come in handy, thank you! Can't wait to come back and we can share stories, good luck in your training!" and she sets off with the rest of the group, enjoying the sunshine and the music. She walks over and hands one of the potions to Luke, "Here, want one of these?"
As they get to the outlying farm, Gerty recognizes the man that seemed to stare at her last night and disappear. She heads over to Loren, "There! that was the man, do you recognize him? He sure has a nasty looking scar."
Accidentally sleeping in, Loran is the last downstairs. Scrambling off to where his sheep are held. He meets up with the group with a bunch of rowdy sheep at his heels.
"Good morning mighty heroes!" Ready to hit the old dusty trail?"
Loran looks at Gerty's man but he doesnt recognize him. "No sorry Gerty. Do you wanna go talk to him?"
"Yesterday was the first time I saw him. Back me up? I'm going to go talk to him."Straddled with the confidence she now has attained over the last couple days, Gerty strides up to the blond man.
She walks up to the man, puts one hand on her hip, "Excuse me, but I noticed you yesterday giving me a peculiar look? When I tried to find you, you had disappeared. I do apologize if I offend you, I'm just curious as to why?"
Aaron will call up to Luke, "Hey Luke, hold up! Gerty's run off. Looks like she's heading towards those farmhands over there." He pulls the reins on his horse to draw his wagon to a halt, then points over at the farmhands. He will watch from a distant.

The man turns from his work and looks her up and down for a second before responding.
" Did I? Pardon my rudeness Ma'am, but you were the prettiest thing in the room. Sorry if my eyes lingered a bit longer than is proper."
He flashes a wicked sort of smile, his eyes unsettling. There is something that doesn't feel quite right about him.
" looks like you are go are heading out on quite the trip, you better get a hurry on now, I hear the winter is going to strike early...in Mirabar"

Sasha left her flock of sheep for a moment and followed a bit behind Gerty to see what she was up to. The man she talked to seemed really suspicious to Sasha, knowing that they were headed to Mirabar and all, and not being much for thinking things through she stepped in behind Will and made a discreet motion with her fingers and uttered a word in sylvan, glancing over at the man with the wicked smile.

Sasha sneakily casts her spell, speaking the words as silently as possible. The man doesn't seem to notice her as his eyes are locked onto Gerty. Sasha can feel the magic form and extends to the man. For some reason it washes over him and dissipates into nothing
Aaron leans back in his wagon seat, taking in the sunlight and the cool fall breeze. It was a beautiful day, and the first day that he felt completely free of obligation and responsibilities in a long time. He took it all in, daydreaming about the future and what this adventuring life had in store for him.
