You finish burying the deceased and move up the road a bit further to a nice open prairie section where you can set up camp. You are able to get situated just before the light goes from the sky and the stars take up their duties.
( let me know how you arrange your camp, what you do for the animals, etc. also your order of watch if you have one)
William separates his bulls, placing them near the different openings between the wagons. He will take second watch if Gerty's watch is done.
If reasonable Sasha would gather her flock of sheep with the other animals at the camp and play them a restful tune to calm them, then using her fey magic to tell her very smart sheep to wake her and the others up if they spot any threats, before tucking in for the night, telling Will she could take third watch.
It takes a while for Loran to fall asleep. The image of the man's corpse still fresh in his mind. How could someone be so heartless? Loran will pick one of his own sheep and nod off until its time for his watch. They're basically pillows right? "I guess ill go forth?." he says as he does his best to fall asleep.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
High Hopes, Low Rolls. Timezone Is EST. Surely THIS one will reach an ending...
William goes and checks the chest, using his rapier to poke around.
Investigation: 16 (rolled in game log)
The chest has been cleaned out of any thing valuable, there are few remaining pieces of clothing, a rolled up peace of parchment with a piece of ribbon tying it closed some other papers that have been torn. From the few fragments you can see they were inventory sheets or orders of some sort. It seems these folks were in the business of tin smithing
The rolled up parchement is something else right? William will open it (and Acjots will read all those posts he missed).
Looking over the rolled up parchment, it seems it is a deed to a small tin shop within a poorer district in Mirabar. These folks must have been moving there to set up shop

(That’s a great scene right there. I know a guy who runs pack goats and they cuddle up next to him at night on the trail…lol)
Gerty sits still, senses alert to the sounds of the night, dominated mostly by crickets. Near the middle of her watch she hears the howling of wolves some distance away for a bit and then the crickets take back over with their song. The rest of her watch is uneventful.
William wakes up and relieves Gerty. The night is still clear and the stars doing their twinkling dance in the heavens.
William takes a look at the deed for tin shop in Mirabar. In the morning he'll ask Luke what to do with it. Maybe those people had some relatives in Mirabar?
Better focus again: Perception check 18 (rolled in game log)
As William settles into the night, he notices the sheep and cattle beginning act a bit restless. He hears some wolves off in the distance, a bit closer than before, but they don’t sound like there are an immediate threat.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Oh wolves?" Sasha says, sounding worried for her poor flock. "Yeah, sure, some company would be nice." She says to Will with a warm smile, finding a seat by him to keep her eyes open, glancing over her flock, and the sheep too, making sure they are all sound asleep. Perception: 15
Sasha is still sleepy and doesn’t seem to notice, but William still alert to the sounds the cattle are making hears the sound of something moving through the tall prairie grass, near the sheep

Still need Gerty’s perception roll for her watch.
Sorry about that! Missed your original request
Gert's perception roll 19

Decided to roll in advance for Loran's watch in the game log.
Wisdom roll was 9.
(2 nines infact because my real intelligence score is a bit lacking.)

William wakes Sasha and tells her about the wolves.
Do you want me to stay with you for a little while?

((Can we use William's previous roll for the time he spends with Sasha, or do you want me to roll again?))

If you are going to stay up with Sasha for her watch you will need a new roll
William just stays for 1 hour. (He'll try to sleep longer so he'll get his 8 hours)
Perception: 17 (rolled in game log)

Sasha is still sleepy and doesn’t seem to notice, but William still alert to the sounds the cattle are making hears the sound of something moving through the tall prairie grass, near the sheep
William uses Minor Illusion to make it sound like there's a pack of guard dogs that's alarming that sonething is there.
They're here! Wake the others, they're going for the sheep!

Luke a light sleeper wakes at William’s call and looks towards where the sheep are with his bow aimed
William also runs to the sheep, assuming that Sasha will wake the others. (Actjos assumes she doesn't haha)
