No sooner had Shariel hit the ground and realized her mistake did she hear the rush of activity coming her way. It was all she could do to scramble out of the way while everyone rushed down. Once everyone was down, she stood, brushed herself off, and drew her knife, keeping it close to as to not endanger her friends.
((I'm good taking first since we're all pretty armor-light. Darkvision also helps avoid things getting the drop on her.))

Rikaria moves as silently and carefully as she can through the tunnel, careful to avoid any gravelly areas or twigs that may have washed down here in floods. She thinks of Gerty, who was always the worst of the lot of them at hide and seek, silently praying that she'll be able to stay quiet.

Meanwhile, she keeps her eyes and ears fixed ahead for any signs of ambush, gripping her sling tightly, readily to brain any goblin fool enough to get in front of her.

As you quietly shuffle down the tunnel, you make it about 70’ in when the light of your torches and Shariel dark vision exposes some piled up rocks, filling almost to the top of the tunnel, leaving a small gap to the left of the pile. The gap is only wide enough for a small/skinny being to get through. The darkness behind indicates there is more tunnel past the blockage. About 20’ before the rock pile, the torch light highlights what appears is a branch in the tunnel to the left. Shariel is about 30’ from the corridor.
((How large are the piled rocks? If they are hand-sized, Shariel will work to get some of it cleared so we can all slip by. Also, how big was thing tunnel? I had originally pictured very squat, maybe 4' tall, and only a few feet wide.))

The tunnel is 5’ wide, between 4’ and 6’ high in differing places. The pile of rocks has large rocks on the bottom and smaller fist sized rocks near the top.
Gerty points her finger along Shariel's side since it would be awkward for her to do it over her shoulder, "Looks like there are two ways to go, lets get closer to that side tunnel and see what we can down it. See if the boy has dropped anything else to help us with his trail."
Rikaria is clearly having trouble functioning in this darkness, so she's going to be supportive of the others and their skills. She turns to Luke and says "Luke, you've always been good at noticing fine details. What can you figure out?"

(Rikaria gives Luke the help action for an investigation check.)
"Hey, Gerty, can you and a couple others start clearing these rocks while I check down this tunnel?" Shariel moves to the branch tunnel entrance and peers deep until she can make out the outline of the mysterious path.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Stop you're bungling up any footprints....it's possible these rocks were here before the goblins came through....Let me look around" Luke scolds the groups "Sorry I didn't mean to scold you all but if we are going to try to rescue Mikel we have to be smart and can't go barreling ahead into things"
As Luke is cautioning the group to move carefully while takes a good look at the tunnel, the branch corridor and the rock pile he catches a strange edge in the dirt in front you. The light just barely lights up a corner of something. Something like a board or plate just under the surface.

William is begining to think that Rikaria is trying to sabotage this whole thing just to piss him off.

( let me make a quick illustration for you)
Gerty points her finger along Shariel's side since it would be awkward for her to do it over her shoulder, "Looks like there are two ways to go, lets get closer to that side tunnel and see what we can down it. See if the boy has dropped anything else to help us with his trail."
Luke nods in agreement with Gerty

4
(Rikaria gives Luke the help action for an investigation check.)
Luke nods and begins to look around for any clues on which way the goblins went and if the rocks piled in the way were done on purpose
