As soon as you have the table in place, something attempts to open the door. You hear a loud clanging of metal, like a bunch of pots falling to the ground and the laughter stops. You hear what sound spike goblins cursing behind the door and some banging. It appears they are unsuccessful at budging the door.
Rikaria knows little of the mechanisms of traps, but she can prays that whoever does can get to the bottom of it, and quickly. She gives guidance to whoever checks the door for traps.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gerty, a little nervous that there are obvious goblins at the other door, continues on with her friends backing her up. As they reach the next door, she does as Sasha suggests and looks for traps with Rik's guidance
Investigation 19 + 3
(moving forward I don't think Gerty should check for traps - she has +0 to investigation)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
While Gerty and Will check the door, Rikaria keeps careful attention of their surrounding, examining the corridor floor to ceiling, and keeping her ears open both for unexpected noises, and the possibility of the goblins behind them breaking free of the room.
Perception: 22
(One day Rikaria will roll well on something...)
(Edit!!!!! I don't know what just happened there, but Rikaria definitely did not roll a 20. She rolled a 9. I don't know why it changed.)
The hallway seems to have no traps or surprises, and as you get to the other door you know you got to be close. You can hear some muffled sounds of voices. One deeper voice sounds like maybe it’s giving commands to other, higher pitched voices
Rikaria takes a deep breath, and the strangest impulse comes over her. She remembers a small vial she's been carrying around for good luck for months now. A traveling priest of Chauntea had given it to her as thank you for being the only one to listen all the way through his street sermon last spring.
If there were ever a time to use this, it's now.
She uncorks it and wets her fingers, and wordlessly flicks the water at her friends. A small splash lands on Gerty, Luke, and William.
With the strange intuition she has had since her vision, she knows what she has just done is somehow more than just a good luck gesture. Rikaria has castBlesson the three of them.
That done, she clutches the cords of her sling tightly and whispers "Ready when you are."
(Sorry Sasha! Spell only lets me target three people at first level! Figured our frontliners need it most. For anyone unfamiliar, if you're blessed you can add 1d4 to any attack rolls or saving throws you make for the next minute, so long as Rikaria maintains her concentration.)
You open the door into a room 20'x30'. The walls are lined with shelving an it is stocked full of barrels and crates filled with different vegetables and some canisters of herbs and seasonings. The aroma is marvelous. You have never seen a pantry as well stocked as this one. On one shelf you see a stack of Mr Cartwright's blackel-berry pies. On the opposite wall is another door. You can near clearly the voices on the other side. After a moment, you hear some panicked voices in Goblin and an angry response from the deeper voice, followed by what sounds like orders, and bustling activity.
Rikaria looks back at through the hallway they've just come through, wide eyed at Luke's pronouncement that the creature has broken through the double doors. She looks into the pantry over Gerty and Will's shoulder and whispers emphatically "Whatever was behind that door could be headed this way any second! Come on, let's get in there and lock the door behind us!"

The southern hallway goes 20 feet then turns left for an additional 40' leading to another door.
"Don't forget to check it for traps!" Sasha says quietly from the back with a giggle.

(Ideally it'd be Luke but it said he's not here today. But maybe someone can give Gerty the help action for advantage?)
(Yes, it would be reasonable to think Will would do that, going second after Gerty, right?)
Yes, William is 2nd in the marching order and checks for traps. He'll watch out for things in front of Gerty of course.

Luke brings up the rear watching if the goblins manage to escape the barricaded room

Luke hears a loud crashing sound, like wood be splintered. Not from the door that’s barricaded, but from the double doors from the intersection.
“Psst uhh PSST! The double doors from the intersection of broken…whatever was there has broken out!”
Crap! We'll deal with that later. Everybody ready?

“Yes, I hope Mikel is behind this door.” And with that she opens it, pot lid in hand, ready to face whatever it is behind the door.

( i forget, does anyone understand Goblin?)
(I don't think so. Just common and halfling for me btw)

(Rikaria does not. Just Common and Dwarvish.)
