You all make it to the Coop’s stand in the main market are in Longsaddle to drop off the vegetables, cheeses and various other products you have brought for the sale. The livestock you take a little further down the road to holding pens and register with the auction master. You can see the pens are almost filled to capacity with good looking livestock from as far away as Phandalen. It’s going to be a good sale. The streets of Longsaddle are bustling with deliveries, out of towners and your can see some of the Harpells wizard apprentices assign for security. You can alway tell the apprentices due to various sometimes bizarre looks. You see one who has been turned all blue, another with a strange extra appendage. The Harpell family likes to experiment with magic, to push its boundaries. The apprentices seem to bare the brink of the mistakes.
While you are unloading your wares, a roundish dwarven man approaches you. A haggard looking fellow with an oddly cut beard. You recognize him as Rolland Halfstock, the president of the Coop. He has a concerned look on his face and a rushed manner about him.
” Howdy and ho there young masters. Wow, looks like ye have brought in a good haul. Some of the coop have not shown yet, Larry far steadier said he would be rollin in later this evening, but Martha Longwater hasn’t been heard from, nor has Ben Cartwright from the Lazy Waft ranch. I was hoping you’d folks could head out and check up on them and help get their harvests here.”
Gerty draws up to the rest of the crew before they head to the coop, leading the Durthane's old mule with a cart overflowing with potatoes. The red-headed dwarf with dusty brown clothes and old boots looks a bit disheveled as she joins the rest. Her hair, all wind blown, with the strands around her face plated to keep them from bothering her. "Brutus here, well, gave me a bit of trouble getting going this morning. Sorry for delaying you all. I'm happy to be getting some time away from the farm, but man, why'd they hook me up with Brutus? He's always a pain."she kicks the dirt a bit, emphasizing her point.
As they ride into town, her eyes grow wide at all the sights, she's been there before, but not on her own and with such a duty placed on her from her family. She's hoping she can do them proud as any chance to get away was a good day for her.
When Rolland approaches them, she greets him whole-heartedly, "Yes! we would love to chase those masters down. Anything we can do to help!"
On their way to the Longsaddle Sasha resumes skipping and dancing and playing her flute as she leads her flock to the market, and the the sheep too ;-)
"Sure Rol, we'll find your lost farmers for you." Sasha says cheerfully to the weirdly bearded dwarf, noting Will is lost now too, making this quite a mystery.
Luke dropped the 8 horses off he's going to sell to the stables (scores 7x2, 9x2,5x2,4x2) and rides back on top of Brownie just in time to hear Roll talking "Sounds good to me Rol. Uhh seems that I lost ole Billy boy while dropping off the animals....I am sure he's off starting trouble with some of the locals or hitting on the young ladies." Luke sighs "I could go find him, it shouldn't be too hard if you would all like?
Luke laughs "As much as I would love to help you cheat the locals we have a task. The president of the coop Rolland asked us to track down some missing members of the coop. They haven't shown up with their goods yet. So we have to go see if they are stuck or have a broken wheel or whatever"
"Yes, perhaps, gods forbid we would use any of your horses for this search and rescue mission." Sasha says to Luke with a smile and a wink as the boys come riding back on Brownie.
Rikaria greets everyone warmly, though she can't hide all too well an expression of exhaustion at William's appearance. When Gerty arrives Rikaria grows a bit quiet for a while. Not silent, just a bit distant. After Rolland gives them this task, however, she snaps back to her confident self. She offers Rolland a scone as well, of course.
In response to Luke's plea for horses from Rolland, Rikaria responds, saying "Lazy Weft Ranch ain't too far outta town, Luke. We can walk easy enough. If we leave now we won't miss too much'a the morning either. Especially if you two stay on task." She looks at William and Luke sharply. "We got folk relyin' on us. Let's get a move on!"
Sasha grins as Rik takes charge of the situation, putting the boys in their place. "Let's be off then."She says cheerily and starts playing her flute again.
Luke smacks Will on the arm and giggles "Quit getting us in trouble." Luke gets off of Brownie and sets her up at the stable "Sorry I didn't realize it was within walking distance. My mind is elsewhere. Now that Will is behaving shall we set off?" Luke grins at Will while throwing his bow over his back and gathering his bag
Rikaria doesn't turn or slow down as she responds to William. She simply waves and shouts over her shoulder.
"Alright, Billy. You stay here and have fun in town and the rest of us will go help out the ranchers. Then when we get back, you can play us all a serenade while we enjoy the reward Rolland gives us for a job well done!"
The 10 beef cattle that William brought look a bit like this:
The first 5 look: 10 Behind them there 5 that look like: 2

William tries to be as inconspicuous as possible. Maybe he can goof-off while the other do all that.

I'd say Luke (and him knowing William) would be able to find Will if he goes searching for him.

"Go ahead Luke, just don't get lost while you're at it." Sasha says smiling, looking to Shariel and Rik for their opinion on taking on this adventure.
Luke nods and gallops over to the local tavern looking for Will
Hey Luke! What took you so long? Wanna cheat at cards or dice? I bet we can make some gold here! Not many pretty girls here though...

That sounds a lot like work... oh well, if we don't help... those girls are lost without us! Let's go!
