"Hm, what could that be?"Sasha says to herself, then turning to head downstairs. "Rik, come, I think I saw something in grassy field behind the barns."She shouts on her way outside. "Hey, you lot. Come, I think I found something." She calls out to the others as she gets outside, hurrying over to the grass field and the darkened area she saw through the window.
Rikaria enters the kitchen, taking in the delicious scents that are very strong now. Indeed, there is a pie on the counter next to several empty pie pans. There is light dusting of flour coating most of the counter space. On the edge of the table she can see some purplish red finger prints and on the back of the chair as well. The prints are the size of a child’s, but with longish fingers. As far as you can recall, all the Cartwright children are long grown up. You also notice some bits of mud and grass on the floor heading towards the back door.
Gerty, as you move closer to the lump of hay, a large raccoon leaps out from the hay towards your face. It is a blur of motion, snarling teeth and menacing little claws.
roll a dex check to see if you dodge the furious furball.
Rikaria examine the strange fingerprints and the untidy scene with disapproval. Who would ever think Mr. Cartwright would leave the kitchen such a mess! She begins to follow the muddy footprints when she hears Sasha calling to her.
(Do the footprints happen to lead to the path Sasha is following?)
As William picks up the rusty blade all those things hapen at the same time. He hears Sasha calling to come, but he also hears Gerty's "Ah!" and the howling noise from the barn. William looks at Luke, shrugs and runs towards the barn. He really wanted to follow those tracks.
William and Luke enter the barn and hear the blood curdling shrieks of Gerty mixed with viscous howling of the gray mass of fur and teeth. You can barely see her up in the loft with the furry mass attached to her chest, it far from the ladder.
Sasha cannot see any further details from her vantage point in the house, but notices Luke and William sprint Towards the barn.
Huh, that’s weird, maybe a cat? Gerty thinks. She moves a bit closer to it, “Kitty Kitty?”

The prints lead out the door in the general direction of the barn
Rikaria thinks of following the prints, but decides Sasha's voice sounds too urgent to ignore. She shouts "Coming!" and runs off after Sasha.

Player: Any Good Alignment // DM: Lawful Evil
Gerty curses and reaches up trying to dislodge the little furball, seeing others have joined to help, She looks at them gratefully.
William readies his whip (if there's enough room to use it, otherwise it'll be a dagger).
