Surging forward to where the creature was just before it disappeared, Ben utters a silent prayer to Sune that he will be able to both hit and restrain this foul assassin before he escapes to injure another. Striking out with his magical dagger, he hopes for a fortunate outcome.

"What the? Where did he go?" Titaani cries out, and uses her entire movement to get as close as possible to where she last saw the assassin. Tiny snorts angrily behind her, and, taking great leaps, rushes to where the assassin last was (with his 30ft speed, he should be able to get to the square next to the assassin's square, or there is one square between them). He sniffs the air a few times angrily, before raising his paws and slicing down with them. As he does, Titaani whispers something in gnomish, and his claws glow purple.
Bunny claw attack: 18 Damage: 1 And thanks to Titaani imbuing his strikes with magical poison, if this hits, he must make a constitution saving throw.

(Sorry, Titaani - I just realized that Familiars cannot ever attack, which is too bad because it makes the whole poison attack in the stat block moot... Can you propose an alternate action for Tiny? If you want Titaani may use that attack roll, instead!)

Cbaer8, DND beyond says that with my pact of the chain feature it is possible: "...when you take the Attack action, you can forgo one of your own attacks to allow your familiar to make one attack with its reaction."
However, if this isn't possible, Titaani will just throw her boomerang as hard as possible at where she last saw the assassin.

Matilda is up, together with Titaani and Tiny again.
On her second try, Matilda manages to connect her sharp dagger with something in the underbrush. There is a shriek, and a bit of blood on the leaves of a lush leafy fern. Then Matilda carefully pulls away from her invisible foe.
"Mind your own business or feel my garrote..." you hear the invisible assassin mutter before he vanishes deeper into the forest. Action: Dash 60' Bonus Action: Hide (Stealth: 13)
Matilda blindly races into the forest. She picks up some slight sounds and movements of his retreat and manages to stay on his trail. She is about 90' from the lake now, headed into deeper forest, but she senses she is still very near her quarry.
Everyone but Matilda may act if you have an action to attempt.

Everyone may act. Dashing will keep you in melee distance of the invisible fleeing assassin, or you may employ 30'+ ranged means (with attack rolls at Disadvantage.) But in order to do anything other than Dash you'll need to first succeed on a Perception check with a DC equal to the assassin's Stealth check above to guesstimate his location.
