Gleam is transformed into a tiny wriggling earthworm. Glister gasps and snatches up the worm.
Endelyn shakes her head angrily and vanishes into an opening behind her, deeper into her tower. (She is no longer visible to anyone.)
Titaani and Matilda are up next. (Titaani should first make a DC7 Athletics or Acrobatics check, else be grappled by the wounded Darkling.)
Matilda looked at the mirror frames and her daggers and figured it was worth a shot to see if she could climb them by stabbing into the wood and hauling herself up..... ( Athletics?)
Matilda looks up and studies her options. She still has unnatural speed (Expeditious Retreat) but she no longer has the ability to Jump the way she could a moment ago. Climbing the mirror likely wouldn't be helpful, as the overhang of the balcony above is some fifteen feet of smooth stone. But there is a lot of thick musty velvet drapery and black lace trim hanging from the balcony above. If she were to stand on the black marble railing and jump, she might be able to climb up. (DC10 Athletics to jump and climb successfully. But a failure under 5 will result in a 20-foot fall into the hard, darkling-filled amphitheater stands below...)
(Endelyn was in the balcony directly above Matilda before she exited into the tower. The Darklings fringed in red are actively hostile, currently. Stagefright is currently Grappled by giant Horatio.) Titaani and Matilda are up next.

Matilda is kicking herself for wasting her enchantment on the stupid play and decides to chance it, noting that she can't hurt Lynn from here anyway...and Lynn can still hurt her friends.....
Matilda jumps up off the black marble railing and catches the velvet drapery. Climbing up, dangling high over the amphitheater, she successfully pulls herself onto the top balcony.
Endelyn is gone, but her ornithopter is still here.
An open archway leads to a semicircular room. Bottles filled with crackling lightning line wooden bookcases along the walls of this chamber. On the opposite side of the room from the arch is a large wooden desk, atop which a stack of parchment flutters under a stone paperweight shaped like a toad. Scattered on the desk are ink pots and ink-stained quills. Dangling from a rafter near the desk is a rusty cage that holds three folded paper birds flitting about like moths. A door leads to the south. Matilda heard it close just as she pulled herself over the stone railing.
(Matilda has used her movement and action, but she may still use her Expeditious Retreat to dash further in if she so chooses.)
On the stage below, Titaani acts next. She should first make a DC7 Athletics or Acrobatics check, else be grappled by the wounded Darkling.

Titaani remains tangled in the little fey's grasp. (I have to use the first roll of your action, sorry!)
Glister, her wormy sister in her pocket, races up the main stairs, pushing darlings out of the way. (Dashing, she makes it to the first landing.)
Amidor the dandelion tries to poke the darkling grappling Titaani. "Unhand her, you foul ruffian!" Amidor Rapier Attack vs. Darkling: 6. Hit: 4 piercing damage.
Stagefright tries to wiggle out of Horatio's grasp. Dex check: 10 (Horatio: make a contesting Strength check!)
The wounded darkling dodges Amidor's rapier. Titaani remains grappled.
Horatio: Make that DC21 contesting Strength check; on a fail, Stagefright will grab the hook dangling from the crane and swing out over the precipice. ("Specklenose, drop me down!" he will shout at a nearby goblin sitting on the crane.)
Pud (on the stage) and Horatio (near the cranes) are up next!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Pud whacks the Darkling holding Titaani with an arcanely forceful blow to its gray, shrivelled head. It lets go of Titaani and falls hard on the stone stage.
Then its body suddenly immolates with a blinding flash. Quite literally: Pud and Titaani must each make a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or be blinded until the end of their next turns. DC10 CON Saves:Amidor: 15. Pollenella: 19
Meanwhile, Horatio may make an opportunity attack against Stagefright as he slips away, and he may then have his regular turn.

Pud is temporarily blinded by the flash.
With a battle roar, Elkhorn jumps down and swings his sword at another darkling rushing the stage: Longsword Attack vs Darkling: 14. Hit: 8 slashing damage.
Somewhere above him, Ben hears a door shut. Looking up, he can see a viewing gallery ringing the upper level of the chamber holding the Orrery – a circular balcony some 20 feet above him enclosed by a stone railing, with balusters shaped like hourglasses. But he can't see who's up there from his current vantage point below.
Horatio and Ben are up next! (Horatio may make an opportunity attack against Stagefright, first, if he chooses)

Ben:
Realizing his time is running out, Ben chances grabbing the bench just inside the electrical field. He reaches low, for one of the wooden legs, trying to use the bulk of the bench to shield himself from the central spire.
Lifting the bench from just outside the shocking field, he hurls it again, now as close as possible to the lightning rod. A strong, two-handed overhead throw, he aims to hit the central lightning rod and disable the orrery!
Athletics: 19

Unable to hit anything useful, Ben uses the rest of his movement to head over to the spiral staircase. He hopes to stay ahead of the darklings and perhaps get to the Hag…or at least channel the pursuers into the narrow stairwell so he isn’t overwhelmed.
