Like an oversized human anchor, Horatio tries to slow the drifting balloon. It begins to drift over the dock, the basket still some 20 feet overhead.
Matilda drops into the water, but finds it as deep as she is. She treads water.
Ben ignores the knight's oddly enticing call, but not the massive wave of water from the landing frog that completely swamps the boat. It begins to sink as he vanishes, swimming the rest of the way to Horatio.
Morning Star tries to batter the frog with its hooves: Hooves Attack: 9. Hit: 12 bludgeoning damage
"Grab on! Grab on!" cries Morgort, her pitch rising. "You, big guy, shrink or let go before these frogs take us down!"
"Hurry! Grab on! I'll try to buy you guys some time!"
Pud flutters up higher hoping to stay out of reach of the frogs. He points his magical multi tool at the frog that attacked Ben and launches a fire bolt at it.
11 to hit for 5 fire damage.

Quinn - lvl 4 Human Ranger - Hunter (Phandelver and Below: The Shattered Obelisk)
Pud sears the frog menacing the sinking boat with a dollop of arcane flame.
The balloon continues to drag toward the center of the lake. Horatio, still giant-sized, clings to the bottom of the line. He looks to Matilda, as he continues to keep the balloon from flying away without her.
The two frogs continue to jump and snap, but they are unable to reach the height they need to reach the basket. The bullywugs shout and threaten, but they lack any more ranged weapons.
Morgort, still invisible, continues to scream at Horatio. "Let go or lose some weight!"
One of the frogs lands dangerously close to Matilda, showering her with foul water.
Ben climbs the rope to get in the basket assuming those above him do the same. If he is blocked, Ben will use his last second level spell slot to Misty Step up into the basket of the balloon.

Ben scrambles up the line; Matilda leapfrogs him in an outrageous leap out of the water. Soon both are in the basket, dripping with swamp water.
"By the authority of His Royal Majesty Gullop XIX, I demand you ground that balloon forthwith!" shouts one of the knights. Both knights wade into the water toward giant Horatio, still holding onto the last line, keeping the balloon from ascending.
"Fat chance, toads!" shouts invisible Morgort.
Hortio may act next (also Pud and Titaani, if they have an action to use.)
Pud hopes to slow down the knights moving towards Horatio. He flutters in their direction and when he's within 60 ft of them, he hurls a to blobs of acid at the knights.
Action: cast Acid Splash at the two knights. Dex save 15 or take 9 acid damage.

Pud conjures a bubble of arcane acid and hurls it at the nearest shouting knight. He tries to duck. DC15 Dex save: 15 The knight shouts in pain and annoyance. "We'll have all your heads for this!" shouts the knight, waving his fist.
Titaani and Elkhorn give a mighty heave, pulling normal-sized Horatio into the basket with a lurch.
The balloon, still dangling a couple of cut lines, springs up, now fully untethered and unanchored.
The world below vanishes in a brown haze. Morgort manages the complex controls – a series of rudders and vents and arcane mechanisms controlled mostly by marked ropes and lines of different sizes. The sounds of the swamp - and the shouting knights – fade into the fog below.
"We do have a leak," ventures Morgort, uncertainly. "I'm not sure how well I can steer this, or how long we can stay airborne. Where we going again?"
”Hopefully that mending spell will still work,” says Ben, “And I think we were headed first to the unicorn’s grove to reunite her mate with his horn…Speaking of which, the glade’s magic requires a unicorn disguise, even one as simple as holding a stick or horn to your forehead.”

"Unicorn??" asks Morgort, incredulously. "What in the Fey are you talking about? What unicorn? Where? How do I get there? I have to put a stick in my forehead? Listen, we're getting out of Downfall. Far, far away. Then I'll drop you down somewhere as safe as I can. Not sure I can land us in no unicorn grove."
Pud looks up trying to spot the hole in the balloon. Unsure if the spell will work from where he's at, Pud puts his hands on the basket and casts mending , hoping that the magical energy will travel to the spot that needs repair.

(Does anyone have a set of Navigator's Tools and/or want to Help Morgort in her Wisdom (Survival) check to get you to Wayward Pool? She'll do the roll; someone can just assent to helping.)
Now high above the sea of clouds, Pud looks nervously at the repair job above him. It will require climbing the side of the balloon. Fortunately, there is a loose lattice of ropes holding the balloon together he can climb on. Unfortunately, a wrong move would result in a long plummet into a distant floor of fog below. (Pud: Make an Acrobatics check to give it a go... DC10 to succeed. On a Nat 1, you plummet; otherwise, you wisely retreat.)
