Matilda finds the four talented minstrels to be indistinguishable from small, ordinary badgers, except that they are playing (rather adeptly) a variety of stringed instruments - sized according to their tiny stature, of course.
One of the badgers pauses its performance, and addresses Matilda politely. "Please rest here and have a cake or three. Representatives for the Hourglass Coven will attend to you shortly."
About then, Matilda spots a wrapped present on the table, under a plate of half-eaten cakes. Its tag reads, "Matilda • Ben • Titaani • Horatio"
"Yes please," Titaani responds to the woman's offer of tea. Sitting down at the table, she adresses the group. "So you guys are just hoping the queen will show up? How long have you been waiting? Also, have you guys tried gnomish pumpkin scones? They're the best! Especially with butter and syrup...oh no, now I'm hungry!"
"Oh, is that you?" asks Bodger the bear, somewhat distracted by his cake.
Titaani sits at the table. The cakes look and smell delicious, and are beautifully made.
"I'm Majera d’Valzey," says the human noblewoman, pouring Titaani a cup of tea. "We're all here for audiences with Zybilna. You too? We've been told to wait here in the garden until meetings can be arranged. We've been waiting for some time, but they keep us well-fed. What is your name, my dear?" As she speaks, her magic quill transcribes everything she says on a piece of parchment.
The others continue their argument about scone toppings.
Still hiding at a distance, Ben looks at the package and inspects it for any obvious traps before opening it. Just in case there is something dangerous inside, he moves a bit away from the others first.

The package looks safe enough to Ben. Small, mostly cylindrical, neither light nor heavy. Wrapped in a colorful purple silk handkerchief and tied with fine twine. The handwriting on the card is delicate and refined.
Pud relays his arcane message to Titaani, who hears Pud's whispered warning.
Ben opens the package. Inside, delicately wrapped, is a hollow metal tube with an ornate wooden handle. A very small silver spoon – or something loosely spoon-shaped – is tethered to the handle with a short length of colorful cord. There's a small card inside with a brief note in the same handwriting as the card, but it is in a language Ben cannot read.
Showing the others and translating, Ben says, "A gift from Sir Talavar, but I don't know how it is used. Could it be a musical instrument of some kind?"

The guests in the Pavilion continue to eat, chat, and argue. It seems that none of them know each other well. At one point, the supply of tea and cakes magically replenishes – new cakes appearing where there were none a moment earlier, and the teapots suddenly refilled with tea.
Matilda has no idea what this thing is. It might require a short rest to really study it, or experiment with it and hope it doesn't cause any new complications.
Titaani, who was just about to take a bite out of a cake when she receives Pud's message, pauses, her eyes going wide. She quickly sets the cake down. "Umm, well, it was nice to meet you all. But I really should be going now," she blurts out hurriedly. "Don't worry about my name. It isn't important - not to you, anyway."
She rushes over to the others. "Arcane food? That's so scary! Oh, what's that in your hand, Ben?"
Titaani will try to figure out if it is magical in nature - Arcana: 18
Titaani recognizes it immediately, although she's only seen one other one (in her childhood), which looked somewhat different. It's a musical chime, used to open things. A Chime of Opening.
Are you headed due "north" through the circle of standing stones? Or around them? A low bridge and a fountain lay straight ahead, on the other side of the circle. Other structures and objects are visible ahead and to the left; a pond lies in the distance to the right.
"Oooh! That's a wind chime. They make pretty sounds," Titaani informs the group. "This one is especially good, because it can also open locks! But only ten times, though, so we shouldn't use it unless we have to. No matter how curious we are to hear what it sounds like..." she gazes at the magical item longingly.

Pud stays to the side observing. He's getting a bad feeling about this situation and the statement about being well fed doesn't sit right with him.
He looks at Titaani and casts message.
"Titaani. Don't eat the food! Look at everyone, they're all fixated on the food. It's probably charming them somehow. We gotta get outta here."
