Titaani, upon hearing Ben speak about cake, runs in behind him, oblivious to Matilda's concerns. "Ooh, I love cake! This one isn't the enchanted kind though, right? I'm Titaani by the way! What's your name?"
Pud arrives a tad bit too late to coax Ben back to safety. He looks around for something, anything to help out his friend. He looks at Matilda and Horatio and whispers.
"I got an idea. What if I make something in the room with the Jaberwhatever smell like cake? The giant runs in there, wakes up the dragon and we let them sort it out?"
He picks up a tiny stone, probably a bit of rubble from the broken castle walls. Pud squeezes the stone tight and using some clever tinkering, the little stone begins to smell like freshly baked cake.

"CAKE!" shouts the giant again, throwing a dirty bowl across the room. "Where's the cake that the wizard promised? The eight-tiers-high one!" She points at Ben accusingly. "GO! If you return without it, I’ll gobble YOU up instead to see if you taste as sweet as you look.”
"CAKE, TitanGirl, Cake!" she redirects her hostile gaze toward Titaani. "I can smell it! Lit with blood-red candles, he said, and icing 'white as snow'. Get it NOW, or I'll squeeze you into my soup.” She stuffs a fistful of dark pudding into her mouth, and chews ravenously.
Ben can see the wheeled cart at the far end of the banquet hall contains several drawers; atop it rests an iron kettle and a tureen of steaming soup.
Horatio nods at Pud, "I wondered if we could get them to fight... but how is it that they haven't already? Do you think they're friends? Maybe we can make something dangerous look like the cake? Do you have anything poisonous?"
”You say the wizard has the cake? Which way did he go? I’m sure there will be enough for both of us!” says Ben, looking around and—surprisingly—starting to smell a cake himself!

The giant stands up, threateningly. "NO cake for YOU," hollers the giant at Ben. "This castle is MINE now. I am the QUEEN. CAAAKE!" she shouts, as she throws a full bowl of stuffing at Ben.
Stuffing Attack vs. Ben: 18 Damage: 7
"Fetch it! Now!"
Matilda, meanwhile, has ducked down the hall to the west, where she finds (as Titaani did) that the door is locked and solidly sealed. (It has a crowned hart engraved above the door.)

Ben:
Barely managing to deflect the incoming food, Ben replies with disdain, "You call yourself a queen, but you behave like a petulant child! I don't know this wizard of which you speak or his promised cake--the only other possible food source I've seen is a big pot a few rooms back. Start behaving yourself and I'll consider helping you look for the wizard."
As he speaks, Ben backs towards the door of the room he came in and takes the Dodge action. He hopes whomever is making the cake smell behind him has a good plan.

"Yeah! Leave Ben alone!" Titaani exclaims, stepping up closer to the giant. "There's only one queen of the realm, and she is far more graceful than you!"
As she speaks, her voice takes on an otherworldly quality. "Be nice to my friends, or else-"
(Fey presence on the giant to make her frightened of her - Wisdom save, DC 14)
Matilda shrugs and gives up on the door, she cocks her head to the yelling and screaming going on and her eyes slide to the door with the dragon behind it.............this is a very, very bad place to stand.....
She runs up next to Titaani, " Running or stabbing? Cos more shouting is gonna bring the dragon here...."

The giant does not much care for your attitude. "Get.... OUT!! And bring me my CAAAAAKE!" She glares at Titaani – a piercing, evil glare that burns her on the inside.
Titaani: Make a DC 14 Charisma saving throw. Take 23 psychic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
The giant stands tall and lifts her massive greatclub, ready to fight anyone who dares step forward.
As your eyes rise to view her full height (some 20 feet tall) you also a balcony overhanging the west wall, about 30 feet up. It appears empty, but you can't see much up there.
Realizing a fight is imminent, Horatio enters the room and calls in Giantish, "We have searched many rooms and seen no cake! Only frozen people and a sleeping Dragon. If you let us be we vow to keep searching. If we locate your cake we will bring it to you. There is no one else left to make you a better offer."
Meredith gives up trying to stop Ben from entering the room and runs back to the others, " Bens going to be eaten."

Horatio snaps his head at the comment, "The Dragon is awake? Or something else is going to eat Ben?" As he asks, he moves towards the room Ben is in.
