The clawed scrambling gets louder, together with the unsettling burbling and a heavy dragging sound. It's coming from the direction of the Bathing Room to the west.
A massive, sinewy, dragon-like creature clambers into the room from the west, carrying a dead aurochs in its toothy maw. It freezes, sizes you up, and burbles angrily. Mercion swears quietly.
Horatio and Ben: Make a Charisma saving throw. Mercion: 17 Elkhorn: 17 Strongheart: 8 (Everyone else is too far away to worry about this yet.)
Ben tries to asses his option in a split second! Would his spell allow him to speak with the creature? Does he have a chance of forestalling combat by reasoning with it?

Ben recognizes no language in the creature's confusing burbling. Its stance, however, is undeniably hostile. Based on its body language, it's probably time to fight or to run.

"Time to protect my friends," Ben thinks. "Too late--It is here and it is angry!" he says aloud with a firm voice. His sword bursts into flame as he moves northwest to engage the Jabberwock, ending up just in front of its head adjacent to the wall on the north side of the room.
Slashing at its neck with two powerful blows, Ben attempts to imbue his attacks with divine power!
" It has been in here with the frozen people for years without hurting them........but if we fight in here? Then they probably will die."
" We.Need,To.Run."
( Dash. BA- Dash through the previously opened door into the corridor as far as possible. She will be attempting to carry/drag Titaani with her so may be at half movement.)
Pud, emboldened by Ben’s bravery, rushes forward. While he closes the gap, he whispers to Rizzo. “Stand back, girl. Attack if that thing if it hurts me.”
Once Pud get’s within range he kneels on one knee with his shield presented and addresses the jabberwork with a suggestion.
“Loyal and brave jabberwock, your queen requires tribute from all towns and villages of the realms of Prismeer. Go and seek out worthy tribute and bring them to your queen.”
Pud bows his head and raises his shield to protect himself.
Jabberwock must make a dc 13 wisdom save or follow Pud’s suggestion.
IF the jabberwock attacks Pud, Rizzo will swoop in with a force a blast and then flutter away.

Unless Titaani chooses to contest it, Matilda drags Titaani back into the eastern hallway, almost as far as the intersection.
Mercion, her mouth agape, runs blindly east, nearly crashing into Titaani and Matilda.
Strongheart, his eyes rolled back in his head, blindly charges Ben, attacking him with a wild swing of his sword with both hands. Strongheart Steel Attack vs. Ben:15. Hit: 11 slashing damage.

The Jabberwock ignores Pud completely. (Immunity to charms.)
It throws down the dead aurochs. Strongheart, seemingly a little out of it, is crushed underneath the bloody bovine, going prone and taking 7 bludgeoning damage. (Pud: make a DC10 Dex Save or take [roll]2d6[/roll bludgeoning damage and go prone.]
The Jabberwock screams and lets loose a Fiery Gaze, a five-foot-wide line of fire from its eyes. Ben, Horatio, Strongheart, and Elkhorn must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw, taking 37 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

”Give me the horn, I’ll awaken the wizard. Protect the others. I’ll be okay.”

Titaani tugs her hand free from Matilda. "Wait! There are still people in this room! What are their names? I can unfreeze them!"
Horatio makes sure all the others have gotten away before he follows. He leaves no one behind.
