Ben:

“Then I assume whomever plans to use the horn to touch Strongheart with it will need to climb out there and speak as the touch is made.  I will do it, but that makes two pretty heavy people at the end of the rope,” responds Ben.

”And what is Strongheart’s full name as you best know it, Elkhorn?” he asks as well.

"Uh... 'Strongheart' I guess. Sir Strongheart?"

"Oh, Tiny talks that way too!" Titaani is delighted by Pud's description of Rizzo's speech. "He has a reassuring and gentle voice. Always telling me to be more careful and stay safe."

As the others discuss the plan, the little gnome tugs on Ben's arm. "I can do it! I'm the lightest of all of us. And if I fall, I can teleport away."

Ben:

”Sounds good,” says Ben, “But I expect a truename is more than a last name.  Do we have any other source for Strongheart’s full name?”

"Pud, do you think if you talked to Strongheart in his mind," Titaani asks hopefully, pointing to her head, "He'd be able to reply back?"

“I can try.” Pud says with a shrug. 

Pud moves to the edge, focuses on Strongheart and attempts to send a message to him and hopefully get a response.

IF he doesn’t get a response, he’ll attempt to read his thoughts with detect thoughts

Message: “Hey, Strongheart. I’m with Elkhorn and we’re here to rescue you. We need to know your true name. Can you tell me what your true name is? If you can’t reply, try thinking it and I’ll read your thoughts.”

Horatio shakes his head and says with an admonishing tone, "Only in this upside-down place is there such as a thing as a 'true name'. How would someone even know if their true name was different than the one they grew up with?" 

Titaani prepares to climb out across the rope connecting the stairwell with the frozen hero – perhaps tightrope-style above it, perhaps hand-over-hand below it, perhaps sliding ungracefully atop it, perhaps another way. (Describe the method you choose to attempt, and when you're ready to go, roll an Acrobatics or Athletics check as appropriate.)

Meanwhile, Pud tries to reach out telepathically to the time-frozen paladin. His message unanswered, Pud then tries to read his mind. He can indeed sense a mind there... but it is blank, frozen, unable to actively process any thoughts whatsoever.

" Maybe that weird skinny guy knows some of the frozen peoples true names?", Matilda ventured as she watched Titaani worriedly.

Ben:

"Yes, maybe, or perhaps in the queen's private library.  I'm not sure, but we can hope for the best with just his last name?" says Ben hopefully.

If there is enough rope to tie around herself, Titaani will do so. If not, she begins to walk, tightrope style, across the rope. 

Acrobatics: 19

Titaani, with gnomish flare, walks out across the taut rope to the time-frozen paladin without issues, as the maelstrom swirls below her. 

What next?

Titaani balances atop a taut rope as she approaches the time-frozen form of Strongheart. She carries the unicorn's horn.

The rest watch her progress with anxious concern.

Ben:

Moving over, Ben grips the rope as a secondary anchor should the weight of Strongheart suddenly add itself to the rope.

Titaani holds up the unicorn horn, touching it to his forehead. "Strongheart."

"....FOR ALL OF YOU!!" shouts Strongheart, tumbling and waving his longsword wildly through the air. Then he falls, his plate armor clanking as he bounces through bits of frozen debris. And then he plummets, held only by the rope.

Titaani is about 40 feet from the stairwell, and about the same distance (much of it vertically) from the throne room balcony below, and maybe 25 feet from the hole blasted in the tower wall to her south. She can make a DC15 Acrobatics check to try to grab Strongheart or the rope, or she may try something else.

Horatio Helps Ben hold the rooe.

Pud, half expecting this not to work, is startled by Stronghearts bellowing warcry. He leans over the edge of the bridge and points his magical multi tool at Strongheart, tracking him as his falls.He prepares to use vortex warp to save Strongheart if the rope fails or if the boys can’t hold the rope. 

Matilda is not strong enough to be useful as an anchor so all she can do is yell encouragement to Titaani, " Go Sis! You've got this!"

"Aaah!" Titaani cries, startled. Matilda's encouraging words snap her out of her momentary fright as she moves to grab the rope and hold on for dear life: 15
