“I don’t mind trying the teleport trick, if this doesn’t work- but how do I get back?. “. Zera finally speaks. She’s has been uncharacteristically quiet since the spiders , her voice is weak and shuddering. (Sorry all- RL move but it’s done now).
The oil takes the flame readily. As its heat spreads across the pool the slime begins to squeak and pop... It rapidly goes from a bright green to a crispy brown. About 5 square feet of slime right in front of the door is effected and destroyed in this manner.
About 10 feet of slime still remains between the door and the box, as well as all over the rest of the floor of this room.
When prayer of healing is done everyone heals 2d8+8 hp

This Mug immediately shared with me a transcendental tale of an Infinite Mug that anchors the Universe and keeps it from folding in on itself. I filed this report under "illogical nonsense" and asked why its sign is in Times New Roman font, when it is basic knowledge that Arial Black is a far superior font. I wondered: How did this mug even get past the assembly line with its theistic beliefs and poor font choices?

Perner attempts to target the acid slime with sacred flame
(Because it states that you target a creature within range. So I am trying to use it to find out if it's a creature or an object)

((is Perner targeting the last five feet in front of the pedestal or some other area of slime))
A glowing flame-like phenomena descends upon the slime targeted by Perner. It withers away from the radiant damage, but instead of being burnt simply curls back into a crispy darker green color.

quote from Romantically Apocalyptic byVitaly S Alexius
As the slime begins to burn a path away from the door, Bran moves cautiously into the room, staying in the burned path. He empties one of his flasks of oil on the next section of slime, and lights it with his tinderbox, trying to finish the path from the door to the stone chest. “Let’s see if this clears the way. One of you want to take a closer look at that chest?”
"I'll do it. But I'm gonna need ta recover soon. I can' channel more'n a drop now"
Perner walks across the gap, distrustfully eyeing the ooze and casts sacred flame towards the chest
( testing if its inanimate. I really dont like mimics)

As Bran and Perner approach the platform and chest, once within five feet of them, they see that the cover of the chest is a large stone slab which looks very heavy. Also the slab, the chest and the pedestal all glisten with wetness.
Perner prays for the radiant flames of his deity to burn impurity from his sight... The radiant glow engulfs them, and suddenly a sizzling comes from the wetness about the chest.
((Roll damage on sacred flame))
The wetness retracts from the pedestal and aggregates on the front of the chest, suddenly reaching out toward Bran as a glistening gray pseudopod.
