I should clarify on the notes. It's a mix of Kazit Gul's research from the Doomvault and things they took from Tenebrous Creed, which might cause some confusion. Kazit Gul is general cogent and coherent, the TC are not.
You guys planning on showing the priests of Tymora? You csn take it somewhere else. I don't know what happens then. If you do take it to the Temple, in tome the embassy will be vacated, and any red wizards in mulmaster will operate in secret. Actual agency is afoot.
Didn't care for it. I planned to say it ignored it, but probably failed to mention it.
It's probably good you got thst long rest in...
<ooc: Tetrevess arrives/d tomorrow, so won't join this fight if it breaks out, but on the plus side, for the moment at least, you've got Morwena.. which I hadn't planned on. No real.reason you need to know this, just keeping everyone in the loop.>
(Damn... That necromancer let it out and then ran, and all we got was a kitten. I guess Akame now knows why he was freaked out. He had a hunch it was a vorpal bunny)
<you could just show them enough if the resear h to demonstrate that they were trying to weaponize the rifts. Thsts the story co sequence. I don't have any idea what you'll do with the actual materials. Harpers and Maelstrom are the ones thst added you to get it, though. The two reps yoi know are up in the North and whatnot. I think i should have allowed more tome to pass, logicslly befkre the news came in. I just want you to know thats where you 'supposed' to go. Yoi have downtime to level up, pick up items, reconvene with Tetrvevess, etc. Once you figure out what to do with the 'cat', that is.>
"Perhaps we should go to the Cloaks, show them the evidence, and then see if they know what to do with this thing. I'd hate for it to get out and start eating people or something. Does it seem intelligent? Does anyone have the magical ability to interpret languages?"

Sam bugs in “correction YOU two go and see the clocks I go their I’m dead as it is”
You all hear a voice in your head, gurgling and breathy, full of malice "THE TIME OF VASTNESS IS UPON US. YOU WILL NOT BE PRESENT TO GREET IT."
the cat still looks like a displacer kitten, (except to Chadderlay) but meows innocently before expanding like a balloon, it's dark-furred skin bursting open like the cading of a sausage to reveal the malleable viscera of gnashing teeth and claws as well as vaguely humanoid faces all emerging at random from the twisted extensions of gory flesh. The emerging creature rises on two such extensions and a riot of tentqcle like protrusions for the semblance of a set of jaws, with all manner of sharp bony tooth lining the interior.
<they only attack when truly threarened ir when their victims situation is utterly hopelwss, per the description. Not sure which one this is... but its the commentsry agter using the gem od seeing thst triggered it.>
19+24 = 33
Sam manages to inflict some damsge to the creature, but the creature strikes back with a psychic orb attack (LA) 20 for 18 psychic damage.

Anybody doing anything about that writhing mass of horrific features that followed you home?
Decisions, decisions...
(At one point, Angus tried to give it food and water. #1452 How did that turn out?)

"Well, so far it hasn't attacked us. Don't suppose any of you know how to banish something back to its home plane?"
