Tetrevess casts [heroism on himself, Sam, and Amri. (6 temp hit points per round).
”you shall not pass!” He yells at the elder evil.
(Used a 3rd level slot for the spell)
<With a range of "touch", does this mean the three if you are all together? Since it emerged from the portal I've been keeping things TotM, so it's fine. Just making note.>
The ground in a 20-foot square of Samogri turns into teeth and maws until the start of its next turn. The area becomes difficult terrain for the duration. Any creature takes 10 piercing damage for each 5 feet it moves on this terrain.
Lashing Maw.
X Sam 21 to hit, (reach 15 ft.) 20 piercing damage plus 13 acid damage.
X Amri 18 to hit, (reach 15 ft.) 20 piercing damage plus 13 acid damage.
X Tetrevess 20 to hit, (reach 15 ft.) 20 piercing damage plus 13 acid damage.
Father Llymic, upon seeing the wizard's actions then unleashes a psychic wave. Each creature within 30 feet of the emissary must succeed on a DC 23 Wisdom saving throw or take 32 psychic damage. In addition, every spell ends on creatures and objects of the emissary’s choice in that area.
Well I was close to Sam, since I did the healing potion. , I wasn’t really clear on where Amri was. I think Tetrevess is down.. let me see if there’s anything I can do..
Tetrevess casts shield as a reaction, bumping his ac to 25 and the maw misses- crashing into an invisibile field of force around the mage.
Tetrevess gets a natural 20 on the wisdom save vs the psychic wave, I guess heroism goes down though.
. (How many LA does this guy get- one per turn- he truly is legendary!)
If we’re up again— Tetrevess casts fire bolt on the elder- for 31 to hit, 18 damage, and then uses healing word on Sam for 9 HP of healing. He doesn’t move from his spot, just stares defiantly at the elder evil. “Go back from whence you came!” ,
LAs work after another creature. So one was after Sam, rhen he acts, then twtrevess acts, then on the new round another one. He gets 3 per round, but some actions cost multiple uses. As it is, the squishing PC is voluntarily in melee (i think the manifest mind could do most things, aside from the potion) and even then manages to not get hit by the best if 3 swings from the CR21 monster. I dont think action economy is the issue.
"Dark elves huh? We will investigate further and try to figure out what they're about."
Chadderlay follows the bugears as they proceed South.
Hathowyn remarks as Chadderlay starts to take leave of the orchard, "Leaving so soon? What's the rush? You must have traveled a long way to find yourself here. I don't know much of my surroundings, but suffice to say there isn't much traffic. Please, rest here for a while longer. You look like you could benefit from a brief respite."
Fey Charm. The dryad targets one humanoid or beast that she can see within 30 feet of her. If the target can see the dryad, it must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or be magically charmed. The charmed creature regards the dryad as a trusted friend to be heeded and protected. Although the target isn’t under the dryad’s control, it takes the dryad’s requests or actions in the most favorable way it can.
Each time the dryad or its allies do anything harmful to the target, it can repeat the saving throw, ending the effect on itself on a success. Otherwise, the effect lasts 24 hours or until the dryad dies, is on a different plane of existence from the target, or ends the effect as a bonus action. If a target’s saving throw is successful, the target is immune to the dryad’s Fey Charm for the next 24 hours.
The dryad can have no more than one humanoid and up to three beasts charmed at a time.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Chadderlay's WIS save: 21

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
"Akame, I could use your help with the dark elves and the one-eyed things."
Chadderlay will approach Akame and Hathowyn.
"But if you think a rest is in order then that could work for all of us I guess."

(What number are you seeing for my roll above? I see 13 but when I mouse over it, it shows 1d20+2 no advantage instead of 1d20+3 with advantage)
I think the charm only effects 1 target, so no roll needed really, but ill.let you know: shed suggest you eat a pear. (She's just lonely, not malicious, but you know how Fey creatures can be - their idea of a good time can be uncomfortable for someone from tbe prime. )
(Are we hurting this thing? We’re close to a TPK, I think. Just luck kept us alive this far!)
Yeah, he's been smacked by that golem a few times. I mentioned before it started that if you died it wouldn't count. Since you brought eyedrakes but then lost them I cut out the middle part as a compromise, so you're battle went from phase 1 to phase 3. Phase 2 was Father llymic looking like an old man. Some sources report he looks like an elf, others clearly state he's human. I think you'd eaxh see him differently. Angus would see him as an elf, but he died.
(If your question was directed at Chadderlay... then yes, he would eat a purple pear.)

Chadderlay's WIS save: 21
Akame Wis save with advantage due to Psychic Defenses: 4
Akame turns around and goes back to the dryad. "Actually, that sounds great. Why don't we all take the chance to rest? I for one could use some."
"Akame, I could use your help with the dark elves and the one-eyed things."
Chadderlay will approach Akame and Hathowyn.

I meant Akame, rough Chadderlay us invited to eat another pear if he chooses. There is not a fixed limit.
Sam and Amri are up. (I probably should have mentioned that at the end of the post with Father Llymic’s turn / LAs)
Ouch. Too soon, man.
Draco-Amri dodges the Lashing Maw attack, but auto-fails vs the psychic wave (now at 37/161).
Once again he charges the abomination, and attacks thrice.
