Alistar holds his arm up defensively trying to shield his face from the poison, trying to focus on maintaining his spell to keep the enemy number controlled.

This dark room holds only a small nest fit for hatchling kobolds. Sam csn tell it was inhabited very recently, perhaps just a few minutes ago. The door to his right is open and leads to a hall with more doors at the end, one closed leading farther to the east, and another beside it heading north. The door leading north is open and faint, indirect light falls in from outside the temple. Sounds of an altercation are heard coming from that room. The hall itself turns south at the end, and just beyond the roomnwith the nest, Sam locates a stone staircase descending below ground.
<don't worry about distance, Sam still has movement to use this turn (I know I marked it ✅️, but it's kinda still ▶️, movement required to reach the kobold would be dash action.) Just let me know where you want to go. Sam doesnt yet see the kobold fighting>

Randy and Oli are up to date in PMs. Maybe I'll start a new pm with both of you in it.
Chadderlay will move up to the lone Kobold in the room and cast Shocking Grasp on it.

The kobold, surprised the compound had been inflitrared from front and back, gasps with his dying breath, "your kind will not walk the poison path and when the world turns to venom, you shall meet your end."
(I guess it's in draconic, so... yeah)

tetrevess sends his Manifest mind down the stairs in front of Sam.
he looks briefly around the room he’s in 12 investigation
"Damn it, being separated from the others is the last thing we need right now! Maybe I should have grabbed a kobold and keep him or her under our hostage..." Ethan growls as he scans the room for any dangers or indication that the others are alright.

Ethan's search reveals little of interest. Beside the bull statue and rhe burlap sack, the room contains a few piles of dung and some weeds.
Twtrevess' manifest mind, in the inherent hand ni5ices a trip wire at the top of the stairs (passive perception) and follows it to a mechanism that Twtrevess deduced is linked to several flasks suspended above the staircase (passive investigation).
<now that that one is revealed, small retcon
Meanwhile, Chadderlay just before dispatching the last remaining kobold in the room, notices something in the doorway. A tripwire sits inches above the threshold, he casually steps over it as he enter the room, before making his attack

... when the manifest mind reaches the bottom of the stairs, ut sees another set if stairs leading uo, directly in front of it. To its left, midway between the two sets of steps, is a closed double door.
Active investigation result: the other stairs probably lead to the area beyond the south door of the main hall.
From behind the door can be heard the sounds of dripping water, cracking and falling stone, whimpering, rattling chains, and screams of agony

Everyone hears in their mind Oli say, Good thing you have a light source. I didn't dare light a torch with all the kobolds around me. After a slight pause he says Oh yeah, don't bother trying to see me, I'm invisible. I'll keep scouting in front so you don't get taken by surprise. You can watch our back if that works for you.
Kinda need to know if Sam is going down the stairs with the manifest mind or not.
