Confused at where the others are going, Ethan decides to dash in the direction of where Tetrevess and Chadderlay are heading into and past the area where the traps have been disabled, though he keeps a keen eye on who might attack him next.

 Inside his head as Randy dashes in the direction where Oli disables the traps: Roger that! Moving to uh, wherever the hell everyone else is heading towards. Has anyone seen Ethan around? I haven't heard from him in a while so I figured something must have caught his attention. Also, I saw the dragon suddenly disappearing in a puff of smoke. What happened?! If a spell got blasted onto him, does anyone know how long it's going to last?!

Chadderlay moves and takes the Dash action to get as close to the back door as he can.

"We're heading for the back door!"

Tetrevess casts shield- and so only the crit hits, for 5 damage, as rhe rest of the attacks bounce harmlessly off the invisible force around the wizard.

he then uses misty step, to enter the temple,  reveals his dagger with continual flame on it, and activates his wings of flying and floats into the air.

 The disabled traps are near where Chadderlay was, but it sounds like he's heading for the back door.  Tetrevess and Sam are currently by the front door, with active traps (unless I missed something) of which PCs are at best aware of only by description and have not yet actually detected.

Fyi, the room is ~20ft high, (I think).  From his high vantage point, Tetrevess notices a burlap sack next to the bull statue.

Sam is up.  I guess Oli is making a fire. 

Sam and Tetrevess have entered the hall of the black bull.

Ethan follows behind. Ethan: make a perception check (active) to detect and avoid the traps outside the door.

Chadderlay arrives at the back door (north), which he finds ajar.

Randy follows Oli down the well, swimming trough a few tight turns as he holds his breath, emerging in a dark room, filled with water, but with a ceiling 10ft overhead.  He can sense he is not alone in the water, as several other creatures move quietly about. There are stairs leading out of the water to an open double door.

Sam, Tetrevess and the manifest mind are all pictured within the Hall of the Black Bull, the room is mostly empty aside from the statue, but there is a door to the north and another to the south.

(I saw this check coming from a mile away yet wasn't sure if I should have rolled in advance or not.)

Perception: 20

Ethan notices a row of slightly protruding objects just above the water line and he's suspicious of the arrangement, so.. he goes around it. <you're at the front door surrounded by kobolds and beside the galven magen>

2 kobolds hidden in the trees make AoOs against Chadderlay as he passes on his way to the back door

Alistar sighs as he watches everything rush towards the door. He begins to move his hands in a circle still speaking druidic casting Call Lightning as a 60ft storm cloud forms over the entrance and out. He then points to the troll calling down lightning as he tries to shrink the enemies numbers.

OOC:

Dex save 16 for half from each creature within 10 ft of the lightning call.

Damage: 23

<we'll make sure Ethan moves out of AoE before the lightning.  The galven magen js immune to lightning damage, so no issues there. This way we can center it Ober a bunch of kobolds and the troll. Same for Chadderlay, even though Alistar see him from where he is,  making held action with allies out of AoE ineffective.  Narrativelt interesting this way... hmm. Im PMing @BrianAvery>

Chadderlay casts Shield as a reaction to one of the two Kobolds hitting him and his shimmering shield of magic protects him from taking any damage.

(This happens on the Kobolds turn so I will wait for Chadderlay's turn to determine what he does based off of what the monsters and his allies do on their turns.)

Dark clouds gather into a towering column abvie the ruined temple, choking the anemic daylight dwindling as jt sets to the west, casting an eerie orange hue to the grey mounds in the sky. With a crack that shackes the swamp, a bolt of lightning strikes the last troll, a heartbeat later, nine more tendrils of blue-white plasma reach down from the umbrella blanket, striking dead nine kobolds in a blink.

Troll DC16 Dex 5

Just as the lightning strikes, a dozen kobolds come hurtling out the back door past Chadderlay. The while of them look to be frail elderly kobolds or very young hatchling.  As Chadderlay looks around in all the confusion, a rock comes flying at his head from inside the temple, as a single kobold warrior stands ready to do battle, despite his absolute knowledge of the odds against him. 15 for 4 bludgeoning damage 

Thr troll moves to attack Alistar, it peels a slab if crispy skin from its charred body, exposing a dark green and brown viscera beneath, which swells as the tissue that was scorched regenerates, and in a burst. A blister sprays the area before the troll with putrescence.  (AoE 15ft cube)

Alistar and the magen (if not immune) take 18 poison damage and are poisoned for 1 minute. (Saves can be repeated at the end of each turn to end the effect)

DC 16 Con save for ½ damage and not poisoned.

(The troll is 10ft away from both Alistar and the magen)
