"Does anyone have anything that can at least shatter the chains and catch them as they drop down? If some of them are still stable even as we get them out of this room, then maybe we can get the mto safety one way or another." Ethan suggests as he eyes his targets whilst his left hand glows even brighter.
"And no, I'm saving my spells, thank you very much." He huffs.

Picollo opens the first door to find two sleeping Thayan warriors.
I guess she let's them rest, probably closing the door gently behind her. The door to her right opens to reveal a similar room with vacant cots. The room in between also contains bunks, but is otherwise empty, apparently disused. However, at the far end of the room, she sees something amiss in the stonework. She thinks she's found a secret door.
Trisk will have his illusion of Sam move in front of him and he will follow behind. The feature allows me to change the illusion within the original parameters of the spell so I can make it as big as Sam also. Might serve as a new distraction?
"Do you want to lock these two in? I guess if they break loose we would hear them coming?"
"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
The Doomvault’s doors are wood reinforced with steel, and they open easily. Most doors lack latches, bars, or locks.
As for the piton, maybe? I think temporarily, perhaps, but thinking about how one sets a piton, there's a good chance the hammering is going to attract some attention.
Because this is a new page, I will reiterate, so it isn't overlooked: Picollo found a secret door with that 21 perception roll in the middle of three rooms checked (the white rectangle with the dashed green perimeter).
Also, I just cut fog of war a little rough, but you should see there is another door opposite the pillar beside Trisk, on the east side of the room, and another on the wall above that. You can see it in owlbear now, and it'll be in the next screenshot I post here
Trisk will have his illusory Sam lead the way into that room. Opening the door into the East wall he will call out, "Anybody in there? Come out with your hands empty!"

Trisk will come over to the side of Piccolo and seeing her trepidation he will also ready the Dodge action and peek down the secret door.
(Since I'm readying my action, there is none available to move the Sam illusion so he remains by the door in the East wall.)

Beyond the secret door, you fj d a small room with a black gate, active it woukd seem, based on tbe swirling mist hovering above the ring ob stones set upon the floor.

Do the black gates take us to a new section? Or was it just somewhere else in the same section?

(I'm guessing there is one black gate in each section. I'm also thinking attuning keys/ activating gates can do more than just a singular transport, like a combination lock, but again, this dungeon is very convoluted, and maybe some of the intricacies are lost in translation on PBP, so it makes my head hurt. That being said, if someone is good at Arcana, let's do some attuning to gates, and use the bardic inspiration to help the roll be successful).

The glyph key attunements determine where the black gates take you. The black gates themselves are interchangeable.
Incidentally, I still show the last one open with a glyph key on it. This could be any glyph key, but as you're starting to accumulate them, maybe I'll start calling them A,B,C, etc.
That woukd mean yiu have two with you bow, u kess you meant to take the one with you were you were done with Syranna.
To be clear (because it is confusing) the Gare has 2 states: open and closed. When opened, a portal can be opened within the gate, so that black Gare us open, but the portal to the gatehouse is closed.
(Bind and gag pillars, then start opening doors one by one and searching quietly. Is my vote, or just kill them all

These people chained to the pillars look like warriors. Just picture Doctor Phil describing migrants. That's these guys.

<? Who is is Korbina?, Are these thayans enemies?>
<Can the doors be blocked with a climbing piton, or can Piccolo lock from the outside with thieves tools?>

Piccolo checks the secret door for any traps, and calls over Trisk. She will then open the door and see what is inside, reading action: dodge.

We have at least one glyph key attuned to black gates or are they universal. Anyway you said it is active so could we go through this gate?
That's it
