Piccolo moves forward to 10 feet and throws two daggers at the first thayan warrior (below room A). 
To hit: 26, Damage: 9

To Hit: 29 (Sneak attack): 18 magical piercing

She then using cunning action to dash north east parallel to Room A/B in the corridor to get out of line of sight.

Barely holding onto his sanity as he takes the crit hit whilst masterfully deflecting the other attacks with both his bat and the carapace hidden underneath his jacket, but then his eyes spot something more terrifying... and instead homes in on it. If it wasn't for the dread warrior's presence, Ethan would have focused on the warrior who crit him. 

Strike 1: 15, 8 Bludgeoning + 5 Necrotic

Strike 2: 28, 15 Bludgeoning + 5 Necrotic

Surrender? Shifters would never do such a dishonourable thing like that. Seemingly angered further by that message, Randy easily blocks the greatsword attack before he moves 15ft back and fires down on the two that have caused the most trouble here.

Picollo takes out the first warrior, while tbe dread warrior easily succumbs to Ethan's attacks, his carnage spilling over to the warrior behind him to KO the next warrior in line.

Randy takes our the already-injured warrior on the far side of the white gate and hits the other warrior within its perimeter, pushing him out to the far side.

From behind a silver pullar in the adjoining room, the voice calls again, "What is your purpose in the Doomvault? Are you in league with the rebellion?"

(Oh they're down? In that case Randy will reshift his attacks onto the warrior that crit Ethan; Every attack counts, hit or not)

Randy hears the voice and typical to him, he grows ever more irritated by the minute, nevermind the fact that his sense of reasoning has entirely shut down as he concentrates his fire on the barrage. "Rebellion?! What rebellion nonsense are you talking about, huh?! We came here to blast down the lich's ass, save a few prisoners of his and get the hell out of here! Unless, that voice, you're the lich speaking to us aren't you?! You're the target who's fated to fall!"

(Holding back for anyone else if they have something to say)

"I am no lich. I am Lahnis, Master of the Doomvault Training corps. And you are trespassing on an Official Thayan Military traing site. Prisoners are presumed spies, and if you're here to liberate them, you are enemies of Thay. Now, I ask once and only once: who sent you?"

<reminder to the players: Syranna actually sent you, but if you wanted to say Morwena Veilmist, that would also be true. Even D'arlon Ma wouldn't exactly be a lie, as you have met him, know Morwena worked with him, and she ultimately led you to the Doomvault. Ma is a well known figure in open rebellion against Szazz Tam. The other names could be hit or miss in terms of Lahnis recognizing them.>

Trisk will cast Chill Touch at the nearest warrior to one of his allies.

If you hit an undead target, it also has disadvantage on attack rolls against you until the end of your next turn.

Their loyalty is beyond question. They will never suffer a traitor to the Zulkir of Necromancy to leave the Doomvault alive."

Emerging feom behind the pillar, in a softer, terrifyingly calm tone, he adds, "but I am no thrall."

At this moment, a cone of cold air erupts from the point where the wizard stands, engulfing all the warriors and skeletons, terminating just short of Ethan, creating a pocket in an otherwise geometrically perfect cone.

DC 16 fir ½ of 45 cold damage.

Ethan braces for the spell to hit him and shield his body with the only weapon he's gripping on. "You're no thrall... even so, how on earth are we even supposed to know whose side you're on?!" He further questions the voice. "So much for Syranna or... Morwen... um... whoever it is sent us here I can't remember but... So much for that! Unless if you have anything to say otherwise!"  He turns back to his teammates. "Hold your fire... until I say so."

 Yes, it was the other part that made it ambiguous, to me. Nearest to an ally, but in the next room when there are three monsters within arms reach just left me wondering.  It's moot as either target has failed their save vs CoC and died.
