the firebolt hits the rug and it is scorched, but not burning. inside Trisk (and maybe Picollo) feel the heat, taking a total of 9 damage (maybe split 2 ways)
<sorry, bad DM, losing track of initiatives. If Trisk took a turn, that ends the round and at the start of his next turn he takes 10 bludgeouning. this is an ongoing effect.>
<the rug has an Int score of 1. it wont attack anyone with a rose, but its not going to stop once it has, unless maybe its creator stops it, but that seems exceedingly unlikely.>
The tiny child-like fey girl stays away from the dangerous rug. She puts her little woodwind instrument to her lips and begins weaving a spell
Dispel Magic (on the rug). (reaction: She also plays a tune of courage and strength, giving Trisk +1D10, to his roll to get out of the grapple if needed, Bardic Inspiration)
Drain nods to Uriel and replies speaking common. "Well met. I am called Drain. Let us proceede"
Where do you want to go? Leave garden, two towers (one with an unlocked door) castle with two doors, one is open u less the wizards closed it behind them when they entered.
Drain follows along, uttering a word of power as they step forward causing a Hawk to appear on his shoulder. "Let me introduce you to Hawky. We may find him useful." He will send Hawky up in the air to see what he can see as he follow Uriel through the doors.
"Ow, ow, ow, I'm glad the rug has stopped smothering me as I could feel everything from inside it."
Trisk rolls over and gets to his feet, looking back down at the now inert rug.
"Why did it go after me and not Tesservett, maybe I should of taken a white rose?"
He now goes and plucks one from a vase before continuing.
"Better late than never, you never know."

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
The tiny girl gives Trisk a hug,as if she has not seen him for a very long time. Then she will examine the doors for traps, sounds behind, etc: (Perception: 23)
Hawky sees the whole of prosmeer, under a twilit sky, it's borders shrouded by thick fog, which also runs in the valleys between iys co trasting regions, one wooded, another marshy swamp and the third, a series of mountains. The castle has an open ceiling above the glass carriage, but roofs cover the rest, with four central turrets and one tower just behind the carriage house. There us also the central tower.
Moving onto the carriage room, Uriel looks around seeing doors to the north and east.
(Passive Perception 20–does he see or hear signs of combat or others nearby? Or is this some separate reality where just he and Drain are in the castle?)

There's an awful smell coming from behind the door to the left. Otherwise the remaining doors are unremarkable.
Piccolo plays a quick tune. Those nearby (hear her tune but visualize a vision of stench, heather from death or something rotted behind the door, ) musical telepathy
Uriel can hear the tussle with the tug in the next room. If he goes un he sees a little girl smelling a door to the left and two wizards holding white roses, presumably from the vase on the table with the sign that says 'take one's
<I don't think Picollo took a rose. Correct me if I'm mistaken>
"It would appear we are not alone," says Uriel. Hailing the others, he says, "Greetings, fellow travelers. Do you also seek an audience with the Queen?"

You're met with the above described < post #6860, pictured #6889> glass carriage drawn by a pair of matching inanimate glass pegasi.
