[Okay, timeline-wise, this would've happened before Bjorn turned invisible:] Bjorn flinches as the goat knocks over the podium, and then has almost enough time to quell his frustrated anger about the urine, before the book has its revenge. It seems that he was very much hoping to read the book.
The book hits the ground with an iron like thud. Sounding a lot heavier than it should be. Lir’s urine stream seems to absorb into the disturbing looking leather cover and after a moment returns back onto Lir, but with a sickly looking green tint to it. Lir make a constitution save throw, dc 17 for 1/2 of 24 of necrotic damage
Sparhawk brings his weapon down hard onto the ornate skull. The bone core of it crushes down into pieces, held together by the silver work flattened down. Gold teeth scatter about the room, an the non fractured crystal pops out and skids away through the open door into the remaining mist in the treasure room.
Suddenly a large, twisted and tumor covered foot crushes down onto the crystal eye, destroying it completely. Purplish energy is released as the crystal is pulverized. Soon, the rest of the figure appears in the doorway. It’s head is made of 4 of the mutated skulls, each facing a different direction. The skulls sit atop a torso made of writhing, wormlike creatures that you surmise used to be the hairs from the fur. The chest is covered in the tumor ridden fur itself with the rest of the creature made from the mist itself
Sparhawk stares with surprise. “Someone get a door open so we can get out of here!”He moves toward the creature. Hoping to get most of its attention and block the doorway, much as he did in Abernaths home.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Bjorn will invisibly work on opening a door. Starting with the north door, per Lir's suggestion. He tries the handle, and if that doesn't work, then it's time for the lockpicks (I picked them up, right?). 18
Frangipani's scimitar cuts deep into the torso of the crazy creature, causing it to lurch a bit. As the blade slices in, she notices the worm like fibers move ever so slightly out of the cutting path, reducing the damage. A few of the squirming things crawl onto the blade and then off onto the ground

Sparhawk’s warhammer bashes through the thing sending the spikey worms flying out of its form, only to have them crawl back to it and the wound closes back, filled with more writhing tubes..
the creature grabs two of the skulls from its shoulders, one in each hand and swings them in powerful, arching strikes at Sparhawk.
Sparhawk gets bashed by both skulls as they smash into his head and chest with crushing force. The world goes dark for Sparhawk as he falls to the ground unconscious
Sparhawk wasn't expecting the thing to be so dexterous, and goes down with the crushing blows. (0hp). Still pumped up from the idea of fighting a powerful evil Lich, he wills himself back up (Relentless Endurance). (NOW at 1HP).
"This will not be the day I die!"
(Does it seem to be healing itself, or just resistant to damage?)

From the Treasure room comes the sound of movement. Like someone walking with a dragging limp, a heavy footfall

Con save: 17
To all appearances, the sickly green necrotic ichor burns through the howling goat's skin, forcing Lir to resume his natural appearance.
He takes the remaining 5 points of damage.
"I HATE books!"
“We need to do something, quickly.” Eberk motions to the Treasure room.
(Not sure we are on initiative)
Sparhawk winds up and hits the skull as hard as he can, ready for it to animate and prepared to do what he must to save his friends.

Frangipani had been extremely lost for the past.....while...but she knew an enemy when she saw it.
" Die! Weird creepy thing!"
She slashed at it with her scimitar.

Sparhawk moves to the doorway, making himself an obvious target and trying to block the creatures ability to get past.
"I'll hold it off as long as I can" the big half-orc says through gritted teeth, "either hit it from range or find us a way out!"
He swings with the war hammer, keeping his shield close.
