Lir uses his newfound staff to cast Giant Insect (using Giant Wasp stat blockx5 for the mosquitoes/4 charges).

(When the demons appeared, did they some out of the book or show up within 5 feet of it? Moonbeam should still be on it. So if they do they may get burned.)
Bjorn looks up from the ground at the spawning demons, already being smashed by the captain. "What the --"
Save against Moonbeam: 7
He scoops up the book in one hand as he scrambles to his feet, then slashes at the back of one of the creatures. Attack: 8 Damage: 6
Frangipani slashed at a lumpy-boi.
Attack: 11 Damage: 7
They spawned around you and you were 20ft away
The slovenly demon manages to evade your strike by some evil miracle
(Are we back to the top of the init order?)
Frangipani cuts a deep gash into one of the demons, but doesn't quite do him in
Eberk gets a swing and then the demons
Eberk swings down at the demons. “I told you this thing was evil.”
Attack: 18 Damage: 8
Sparhawk, intent on slaying these demons, "Yeah, but I agree with Bjorn that these items may help Abernath, especially the arms", Sparhawk says without much conviction, he seems somewhat confused (as the arms are gone) and refocuses on the demons
Eberks swing destroys the demon that Frangipani wounded, smashing it straight back to hell. 2 of the four remaining will go for Eberk and 2 for Sparhawk
eberk- Attack: 18 Damage: 4, Attack: 4 Damage: 5
Sparhawk- Attack: 5 Damage: 3, Attack: 9 Damage: 5
One makes a minor hit against Eberk, the rest of the attacks miss their mark or glance off the armor
Sparhawk moves his hunters mark to his next target and takes a swing, still with the warhammer. He is back in his element, killing bad guys!
Attack: 8 Damage: 15
And kill bad guys he does. Sparhawk’s warhammer splatters the demon back into the plane he came from. It is sure to suffer a great punishment for its pathetic display
Frangipani moved to any remaining lump-thing and stabbed it in the face...
Attack: 17 Damage: 10
Eberk swings his hammer again. “Those things corrupted a potion and spawned demons. Captain, he’s manipulating you!”
Attack: 18 Damage: 5
“Alright Eberk, we’ll talk about it after we get rid of these accursed things and figure out a group consensus.”
Sparhawk is not sure what Eberk is referring to but he is a trusted friend like Bjorn.
“Either way, we need to figure out where Lir went.”
"Corrupted? You don't know, the potion might have been... improved!" Bjorn's jovial attitude returns, now that most of the demons are dead (and he has the book!). He prances around the remaining demon until it leaves him an opening to chop at it. Attack: 15 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
The demon does a slow motion matrix avoidance maneuver and Frangipani misses his face.
