Bayrith, you check out the rubble from the explosion and you note that the way it exploded and judging from the way that the rocks don't seem to be scorched or burned by anything, you can infer that the explosion was magical in nature. You manage to find remnants of the iron ball that Fionn rolled and as you check out the inscriptions they seem familiar to you. They lead you to believe that these are balls designed to explode upon contact with rock, perhaps as a way for the miners to mine rock faster.
Rosado, as you shovel the wall with the indent, you notice no inscriptions or magical runes, but you do start noticing that in some parts where you're digging, there's more limestone underneath. You also note that this limestone seems very crumbly, like a violent enough interference or force could tear down a huge chunk of it.
Bayrith stands up after checking out the exploded area, dusting dirt from his hands and says, "Well.....according to these glyph remnants on the exploded ball, they're some sort of crude mining device. They're meant to explode like this when they're touched to rock." He steps over to the wall Rosado is clearing away and looks at it thinking a bit before speaking again. "Narstin, is this the deepest part of the mine? Or does the map show another shaft running parallel to where this one would lead?"
Bayrith walks back away from the wall about 10-15 feet and steps behind a small rock pile all while saying "I'm afraid, Rosado's plan is the best...we need to get past this wall somehow." He then ducks down a bit before continuing. "Go ahead my good dwarf! I suggest the rest of you find a small bit of cover as a precaution!"
Correct me if I'm wrong, but based on what I understand, Fionn rolled it into a different wall, I think.
OCC I thought that this was "THE WALL"
Nope different wall
Laissez les bons temps rouler
OOC:hahaha oh well Bayrith is still curious enough to go check out the after effects of the explosion.
Rosado continues to clear the "THE WALL" with shovel etc. He looks for some kind of inscriptions
Perception: 11

Rosado: "Bloody, Me not think there will be any doors ye know. "

(Does the map show any deeper areas?)
Yes, this is as deep as the mine goes.
"so now what? , i dont know much about mining"
Laissez les bons temps rouler
this is as deep as it goes
so there is somethin behind the wall then?
Laissez les bons temps rouler
So it would seem. I'm just not sure how to get to it...
Do we think the explosive balls there would trigger the same thing the miner did when he hit it?
maybe if we try off to the side like tunnel around it?, we dont know if it were a ball or a pick that set it off

Rosado "Me think we have no other way. Stay back and me will toss the ball"

Rosado, do you throw the ball at the wall?
Rosado covers himself with a shield and throws the BangBall
