”You betcha! Three of them too. Looks like they are chained to a stalagmite. I don’t see any goblins in there. I think because they are chained, we can just avoid them. I’d try to talk to them, but my mana is pretty expended and I’d like to keep some in reserve in case someone gets hurt.”
"Good idea. And they might warn the goblins if they notice us." Feu makes an pained expression. "But...I'd like to let them go after we deal with everything here, I'm sure they hate being chained here."
"Actually, hold on, Rweni." Feu touches her on the shoulder. "I have been trying to learn some different magic myself recently. Still not really good at it, but I think I know something that will let us pass by without issue."
(The passage leading to the chamber with the wolves is about 7.5 feet wide. Each square is 5 feet.)
(The wolves don't notice you. You can all continue north without being noticed if you choose.)
(If you go into the chamber with the wolves, they will notice you, of course. There is a fissure on the opposite side of the chamber that could be examined if you are willing to deal with the wolves, but that is the only other feature of that chamber.)
"Just to be sure..." Feu takes a deep breath, does a gesture with their hand as their pendant swings, and casts Minor Illusion. It creates a line of rocks extending for five feet, all big enough to crouch behind.
Rweni softly grasps Feu’s arm with her hand and helps lead him deeper into the caves. She notices Killian up ahead pointing to the goblin, stops moving and whispers to Feu, ”There is a goblin up ahead on a bridge high in the air. I think Killian is going to do something.”
Rweni waits to see what Killian is going to do. She looks for some pebbles on the ground and picks up three good, throwing pebbles. She pulls her sling out and quietly says, “Sticks and stones will break your bones.”
She readies herself, placing a pebble into her sling and waiting to see what Killian and the others do.
"Are those wolves?" Feu doesn't see them all to well, but recognizes the sound. "Are they using them as guard dogs?" They said in a angry tone.

"How do we get around them?" Paren whispers

Rweni thinks hard about this difficult situation. “Let me talk to them. I agree, Feu. I don’t like seeing them chained up either. It isn’t right.
Is everyone okay with that? I just ask we all be careful because after this…I’m afraid I won’t be able to help anyone if they get seriously hurt.”
Rweni let’s go of Feu’s hand and, unless somebody objects, closes her eyes and concentrates.
"Actually, hold on, Rweni." Feu touches her on the shoulder. "I have been trying to learn some different magic myself recently. Still not really good at it, but I think I know something that will let us pass by without issue."
She opens her eyes and stops concentrating as soon as she hears her name and their touch on her shoulder. ”Okay, Feu. I’m eager to see!”

"Just to be sure..." Feu takes a deep breath, does a gesture with their hand as their pendant swings, and casts Minor Illusion. It creates a line of rocks extending for five feet, all big enough to crouch behind.
"Not the best, but it's useful." Feu looks at the others. "Let's go."

"Warn me if something goes badly, I may be able to hide us." Feu says, preparing the same gesture from before.
(Would we like to sneak under the goblin, attack her from a distance since she's 20 feet up, or go left up that passage with the embankment?)
