Paca,Praxius and Theo

Each of you enter the store, Finding Tithe appearing to be annoyed and a little angry. It seems the conversation with Dagoro has left a bad taste in his mouth. "Aye, Ye can have the Blasted 'Ookshots, 500 gold a piece. The Healing Potions are 100 gold an' theres only two of em!" He practically barks at the three of you. 

Paca, at this point you are fairly certain he was trying to fleece you out of more gold than what the things are actually worth, It seems the talk with Dagoro changed his intentions. Albeit Unwillingly. 

So If you buy a Hookshot, You can find them in 'Add items' Remember to mark off 500 gold! 

Kadevii and Nyka, 

Kadevii you immediately notice that one of the Gorons is looking around in the air and the surrounding Gorons, seemingly searching for your childhood friend who had just vanished from sight. He turns to the other Goron and speaks to him, both nod and continue to watch you. 

Nyka, You hear the Gorons talking but are unable to understand them as they are speaking the the tongue of the Gorons. From here you can see that both Gorons are carrying weapons, One a long blade, that looks chipped and dulled. The other a pair of rather nice looking daggers that seemed wedged into the stone growing from his back. Both are just leaning against the building, watching Kadevii and conversing in their own language. 

"Holy hot magma! You sure drive a steep price. I will take one healing potion. And if that other potion that makes you strong is less than 200 I will take that one as well." Paca hands over the required gold rupees to the shopkeeper

Paca, 

You purchase A Greater healing Potion, While eyeing the one Tithe said will make you Tougher. It isin the same sort of glass vial as your healing potion, but it a far deeper shade of red. While the potion you hold swirls and acts like water, this one appears to be thicker. "It wont make ya stronger, It'll make ya tougher!" Tithe barks back at you, the Goron is annoyed that you had someone as well respected as Dagoro watching you back, ensuring you and your companions are not swindled. "Make's it so flames dont 'urt as much. That one is 275 gold"

The older Goron puts away one of the Hookshots after Paca decides not to purchase it, tossing it into the now open stone chest at the back of the hollowed out boulder.

Paca debates trying to haggle once more but remembers that Dagoro probably did all he could and doesn't want to push the merchant any further. "Alright then, I will take the healing potion and the fire potion." Paca hands over 375 gold to Tithe. "Good day" He barks as he walks out of the shop once more.

"A Hookshot and I guess that last potion", Praxius says ignoring the gruff nature of the Goron.

With that he pours out the 600 gold rupees necessary onto a suitable surface, and accepts his goods in return.

As he takes possession of the Hookshot he looks it over. "Seems sturdy enough", he says rattling it a bit as he leaves the shop.

Quiggley continues waving, smiling, introducing himself to Goron's watching them asking if they know him, explaining about his amnesia. Being polite but also an incredible distraction with his simple but honest buffoonery.

Deception 20+4= 24

The Goron huffs and takes the gold handed over by Praxius and Paca, As you look over the new contraption in your hand Praxius. You find it to be surprsingly light, despite it being constructed of metal and chain. A single point juts out from the gauntlet-like contraption that is sharp to the touch and looks like it could pierce most things. Including stone if you angle it the right way. 

Rattling it, you do hear the chain clink as it moves but the construction of the contraption is solid and clearly meant to last. The Gorons never take short cuts when they build something. 

Walking out you see your Fairy friend, Quiggley fluttering fifteen feet off the ground. Waving to every passing Goron. Taking the attention away from the one Rito among you, as it seems Nyka has left. 

Nyka, 

The Two Gorons you are watching begin conversing in their native tongue once more, this time one of them points towards the fairy. Both seem to chuckle as they watch the Fairy make a buffoon of himself, Taking their attention away from your Childhood friend. One of them does break from using the language of the Gorons to speak in the common tongue. 

"Eldin's balls, What is that Fairy doin? You seein this?" He chuckles and continues to point at the Fairy, trying to get the other one to focus on him. The other Goron, while he did look towards Quiggley, has once more set their gaze on Kadevii. 
"FOCUS Brother" He snaps in Common. "You know why we're 'ere, Keep watch on that blasted Bird." 

Nyka narrows his eyes at the new information. 

He looks to Kadevii, Dagoro, and Quiggley (he's good at making a distraction). Nyka's twitches and winces a little as he activates the device at his neck. He connects with them, so he can whisper into there minds (Psychic Whispers, for 8 hours). To Quiggley, he will send a message. {This is Nyka. I've established communication with you. You can just think at me and I'll hear you.}

He then sends a message to all three of them {The two Goron on the side of Lucky Tidings, the ones staring at Kadevii. They have been sent here to watch on us Birds. How should we handle this?} 

Kadevii frowns. “But we… we’re not doing anything wrong… oh dear. They’re not hurting us… maybe we just let the matter go? I don’t want to start any trouble with them.”

Praxius exits Lucky Tidings and walks over to join the others, throwing Quiggley a perplexed look.

"Where did Nyka go? Are we ready to leave for the mine?", he asks as he looks for a way to attach the Hookshot to his belt so he can get at it when needed.

 To Kadevii and the other two, he will think {I can stay hidden and see if they follow you. I will be close behind if you start heading toward the mines. Unless we want to see what they want now.}

Dagoro looks around for the two Gorons mentioned by Nyka in a message only heard by a three of them, Spotting the Gorons in question the Large Gorons friendly demeanor quickly turns to one of quiet anger. His smile his replaced by a clenched Jaw. "No Kadevii, One bad Dodongo spoils the bunch." The Large Gorons shoulders heave as he turns, walking straight towards the two Gorons in question. 

Nyka, you see Dagoro begin to make his way over to the Gorons. Both of whom immediately stand up straight and turn their attention from the party, trying to pass themselves off as simple bystanders. "OI" Dagoro bellows over the noisy street, his low booming voice causing everyone within earshot to immediately stop what their doing and pay attention to the lumbering Goron. Smith's drop their hammers, Gorons carrying rocks,metals and other materials drop the materials and turn to pay attention. You all get the feeling that when Dagoro speaks here in Goron City, those around pay close attention. Whether out of Fear or Respect, it could be either or it could be both. 

Each heavy step seems to shake the ground, His fists are clenched to the point you can see a slight discolouration in the knuckles. Dagoro is intent on putting a stop to the wrongfull treatment of the two Rito, who had offered their assistance. "What exactly do the pair o' you think your doin?" Dagoro walks right upto them. Nyka, you get a full sense of just how massive this Goron is. You are atop a fifteen foot building, Yet his head is nearly at the same Height as you. In fact if he looked up, he would likely be staring you straight in the eye. 

"N-noth-" The one Goron who had been laughing at Quiggley is cut off when Dagoro takes a step closer to them, His Looming form shadowing them as if they had just stepped infront of a mountain. "Dont Bother lyin, I know the pair of you were watchin the Rito. Who sent ya? Wasnt me, Wasnt me ol' man." Dagoro growls down at the pair of them. 
 

Quiggley immediately stops playing the fool and casts Detect Magic he has a quick look around before focusing on the two Gorons who seem to be causing the problem.

Perception 11+2= 13

Theo pays 500 gold for his Hookshot. He immediately starts to figure out how it works, and what mechanisms it has. Seeing a ledge nearby, Theo tries to use the Hookshot to climb it.

Surface Attack: 9+10=19

Athletic check to climb (assuming 19 hits, advantage on the check, if not then take the first roll): 5, 6

Praxius is a little shocked as Dagoro marches over to the two Gorons and starts to question them.

"What the...?".

He soon recovers his composure though, and walks purposefully over to stand a little behind Dagoro, not interfering but close enough to intervene should something go down. Goron politics and social interactions were not in his wheelhouse, and he was sure Dagoro knew what he was doing, but he remains vigilant none-the-less.

He keeps an eye out for anyone else who might have more than a passing interest in what is happening.

Perception: 3+4=7 (Passive: 14)

Paca watches as this unfolds, watching the two gorons answer to Dagoro. Looking for any signs of a lie or if they are withholding information from him.

Insight: 15

If they seem untruthful, Paca will cast zone of truth

Theo, 

The make of this gauntlet-like device is truly impressive, On par with that of your own creations. While you think it should be heavy in hand, being made of metal and carrying with it a rather long chain. You find it to be surprisingly light. You aim up at a higher ledge and hit a small pressure switch in the handle itself. Immediately you all hear the rattle of a chain as the tip of the Hookshot fires off and lodges into the side of a stone ledge, 30 off the ground. 

Then something occurs to you Theo, Judging by the length of the chain and the fact that you could only see the first foot of it before you fired it. You are fairly certain that this contraption has some sort of enchantment on it, To store the 30 feet of chain so as to not weigh down the device. You grab on to the chain and immediately your grip slips. Steadying yourself, you try again and mange to hoist yourself up a few feet before you lose your grip and fall back to the ground. 

Hitting the same Button in the Handle, The chain retracts back into the Gauntlet. 

Paca, While you are able to get a good view of them. You are unsure if they are speaking the truth, simply because the shock and surprise on their face while being Confronted by the Intimidating Dagoro has masked whatever tells they may have. 

"We jus lookin! Honest!" One of the Gorons belts back at Dagoro, composing himself before the massive Dagoro and Praxius who steps into view, backing up your Goron friend. 

"You's watchin the Rito and I wanna know why." Dagoro's voice comes out low, like a rumble of stone before a Quake. 

Quiggley takes a few moments to take in what he is seeing. He will try to look for a way to disprove the illusion to his mind so that it stops tricking his mind into seeing it. As he does thus he says out loud.

"Careful Dagoro! Neither of them is what they seem. Both are heavily covered in Illusion magic!"

Investigation 8+2= 10 (passive 12)

Kadevii shudders as Quggley announces the presence of illusion magic. His keen eyes narrow, gazing down on the two 'gorons' and trying to discern what they are through their magic.

If it looks dangerous, he yells: "Dagoro, get back!!!"

"Ok, clocks ticking", Praxius says stepping forward after Quiggley's warning. His hand reaches over his shoulder and grasps the hilt of Frostbrand, slowly drawing it four inches out of the scabbard on his back.

"Time to talk. Tell Dagoro what he wants to know before I finish drawing my sword or some limbs are gonna fly".
