Quiggley, 

Getting closer to the line to inspect it, you do get a very strong sense of arcane energy from a thin line hidden within the dirt. It is Abjuration based and with your hunch, you Are able to tell it is indeed an Alarm spell. Someone with Arcane talents placed this to alert them if anyone walked through this tunnel. 

With Nyka keeping a healthy five feet in front of the group, keeping his keen sight on the smooth stone of the tunnel. You all breathe a breath of relief, His sharp eyes should be able to spot anything that may hinder you as you press forward. For most of the group this is a strange feeling, As you are used to a certain Zora scouting the path ahead for traps. 

You continue down this tunnel for another twenty minutes, With Nyka giving no sign that he may have spotted something else out of the ordinary. Just as you come to a fork in the tunnel. 

The Tunnel splits off into two directions, The tunnel on the left declines sharply and looks like it would be difficult for some of you to descend without a form of climbing equipment. 

Whereas the tunnel on the Right, you see a very faint light at the end of a 100 foot straight line. 

"I don't remember Dagoro mentioning a fork in the tunnel. You want me to go check out the light?", Praxius offers, his hand already reaching up over his shoulder to grasp the hilt of Frostbrand.

Kadevii, on the other hand, looks down the steep path.

“Just a hunch, I think it’s this path. It could be worth it to at least check the source of the light first, though. But it could be another trap, be careful.”

He softly reaches up, sending stars of guidance to illuminate Praxius.

"You're not going alone are you Praxius? I think we should all choose a path and stick to it. Now what was that saying about choosing the right path?" Paca pauses as he thinks. "Oh yeah... choose the RIGHT path. Lets go right!" Paca exclaims

"That was an alarm spell back there under the dirt. Whoever it is knows arcane magic And knows someone is coming. In all likelihood the light is a trap. The straight corridor makes the perfect place to use magic against a group. Lightning bolt, fireball, even ranged attacks."

" I agree we should all go the same way, but not all at once close together. Theo, what do you see down there?"

“Hang on, let me see,” Theo says to Quiggley. He puts on his Eyes of the Eagle and looks down the straight tunnel, trying to see what may be at the end of it.

Theo,

Peering down the dark tunnel, where there is no light illumniating anything for your eyes. You are unable to see any fine amount of detail, Yet the light remains the same distance. It does not waver or flicker like an open flame would, No matter where you stand or how close you get. The light does not get closer or further away. 

All of you feel a rumble under foot, The entire tunnel around you begins to shake ever so slightly. Causing loose rock to tumble from the walls and clatter on the floor. However it passes fairly quickly, after a minute or so. 

Praxius, Are you moving towards the light?

After being to told to wait, and not to go alone, Praxius looks to the other members of the group to make a decision.

"Maybe Dagoro knows what this is. You can still talk to him? He should know which tunnel leads us the right way", he asks Nyka.

"Otherwise, I would rather check it out than leave without knowing what it is".

After patiently waiting for a plan to unfold, Paca grabs Praxius and urges him to go down the path with the light. "Praxius, you and I make a good team, let'sfollow the path to the light." He then turns to the rest "You all are welcome to join but I am tired of waiting. Claustrophobic as all heck in here."

Praxius nods to Paca and a wide grin spreads across his face, “That we do, let’s go”.

Frostbrand now drawn just in case, he starts to move forward.

Aware this might be a trap, he does move carefully and keeps an eye out.

Quiggley waits as the two proceed down the tunnel. He tries to keep an eye out for what is happening but gets distracted by the other tunnel.

“I can’t see anything down there,” Theo says to Praxius before he leaves, taking off his Eyes of the Eagle. “I’ll stay with Nyka and Kadevii for now, but if you need us we’ll come as quickly as we can.”

Nyka stops and looks off into the distant while the others talk. He tries to send a message, but it's more difficult than normal. Maybe Dagoro is out of range. Then, a faint message comes back. 

He says to the others. "I heard back from Dagoro. He's at the edge of my range, so it might be the last message I can send him for a bit. We want to go left. Right is a storage area for old mining equipment. Oh... They already went scouting down it. Probably should have replied to you quicker."

Praxius, 

Taking the lead in this instance, you move down the right path with Paca following shortly behind you. As you draw your weapon from your back, feeling a cold sting surge through the flesh of your palm. You cant help but feel a tingle of suspicion crawl up your spine, Someone had come through this tunnel before you. As evident by the alarm spell Quiggley had identified further back, So you keep your pace calm and collected. 

You watch every shadow, every slight bump in the ground. Keeping an eye for any kind of trap, Then your foot catches on something. You hear a slight snap. 

Just before a a concealed crossbow, hidden amidst a pile of rocks fires a bolt straight at your chest. 

Make a Dex saving throw. 

As he hears the snap, Praxius dives to the side, hoping to avoid the bolt that springs into existence.

Dex Save: (Advantage due to Danger Sense): (8,13)+3=16

Praxius, 

In the midst of your dive, you Instinctively bring up your new blade in a defensive posture. As the blade rings into the air, the tip of it makes contact with the shaft of the bolt flying towards you, cutting it in half. The two pieces of the bolt fall harmlessly to the floor a foot away from you. 

Looking over to where it came from, you can see a very carefully placed and well hidden heavy crossbow. If you had any doubts in your mind that someone entered before you, They are now discarded. With the Alarm spell and this hidden trap, you are certain that someone has come through here and that individual likely isnt a friendly Goron. 

Glancing back up the tunnel, You just catch sight of a shadow in front of the light source before it moves to the left. Someone is in the storage area, whether or not it is the person who set the traps, you cant be sure. 

Praxius turns to Paca, “There is someone down there, I saw their shadow”.

And with that he proceeds down the tunnel once more, a little quicker but still wary.

He does send thoughts to Nyka, in case he can still hear them.

”There was a crossbow trap and a shadow moves down by the light. Someone is down there and doesn’t want to be followed. We are moving on”.

Paca urges Praxius "I suggest we go stealthily, though perhaps that trap already spooked whoever it was and they fled. Or maybe being a storage area this is the only entrance and they are hiding themselves."

Praxius is eager to get to whatever the shadow is before it disappears, and is so consumed with this thought that he doesn't register what Paca says about moving stealthily.

Quiggley flutters impatiently waiting.
