LoZ: Seed's of Calamity.

With Rae able to shake off the fear effect as well, Praxius leads the charge against this creature. Rushing into a flanking position before swinging his blade wide, It sinks into the creature. Again it seems to enjoy the pain on some level and turns to set it sights on Praxius, just as the Barbarian's blade makes contact with the thigh of this creature. Cutting deep into the muscle and sinew, leaving a last mark.

Rae is up!

Rae winces slightly as the creature roars during its approach, but having the rest of her team spring into action reassures her.  The yellow zora steps towards her foe and chants the command word to activate her eldritch claw tattoo.  Rae positions herself 15 ft away from the creature and reels back her fist before punching the air.  A bang echoes through the area as her punch reaches super sonic speeds and sends a concussive blast of air towards her foe.

You all can see the warbling blast of thunderous energy spring forth from Rae's fist as she strikes the air, It cascades through the freshly fallen snow. Causing it to displace and create a very clear path through the snow. However as it reaches her intended target, it Seems that the force of the blow was dampened by the snow itself. So the waves of booming energy simply bounce off the imposing form of the creature, leaving it unharmed from the attack. 

Cloud rushes up to the front of the Creature, Making use of the advantageous position praxius had placed himself in. Raising his large blade High above his head, He bring the blade down at a sharp angle, turning it to run horizontially across the creature. Only to alter its trajectory once more, his skill with handling such a large weapon is extraordinary. It is as if you are watching a master bladesmen assaulting a far smaller foe with a rapier, the elegance in which he handles his weapon is unmatched. 

Then in a flurry of motion, he strike twice more with two angled cuts. While the first of them seems to barely cut the fabric the creature is covered in. The Second leaves a rather nasty and deep wound that causes the creature to once more delight in the pain. 

The Creature turns to face Praxius, Sweeping a long clawed hand around. Slashing through the fabric of Clouds Tunic, leaving him with a rather nasty looking wound upon his torso. Once facing Praxius, it produces a long jagged looking Hooked cane from beneath its cloak. With a vicious roar it hurls it down onto Praxius, digging into the flesh of the barbarians Shoulder. The Hook wedges itself deep, Preventing Praxius from moving away from the creature. Then you all hear the rattling of chains as from beneath its tattered cloak, a long length of iron chain clatters to the ground. It releases the cane from its grasp, now holding onto the chain with a firm grip. 

 Paca is up!

"Praxius!" Paca moves up to grab Rae's arm, casting invisibility on them. "Get in there and tear it apart Rae! I'll help Praxius. Quiggley, did you sense anything?"

Theo steadies his aim again and takes two more shots at Kram.

First shot: 9+10-5+8=22, Damage: 8+5+10=23

Second shot: 11+10-5=16, Damage: 3+5+10=18

Quiggley shouts down, "Yeah! It doesn't  have any active spells but the cloak is magical. It is resistant to non magical slashing, piercing, and blunt damage. It is also resistant to any force damage."

Quiggley then waits for Praxius to act before moving directly above the creature thirty feet up and casting Tasha's Caustic Brew (as 2nd level. Dex dc 15. Damage: 4d4/rnd) looking to all the world like he just flew over and vomited a torrent of green slime on the creature.

Rae feels Paca tap on her arm and watches as her body becomes invisible.  She turns to Paca and nods in appreciation, already forgetting that the bard could no longer see her.  "Thanks," is all Paca hears before the zora runs northward.  Her footsteps can be seen in the snow, a far distance between each step as the zora zips across the landscape. 

Suddenly the footsteps stop, a curl of lightning appearing above the last step. Then Rae appears too.  The zora takes a low stance, lowering her knees and digging her feet into the ground.  The lightning from earlier sheathes her right arm as she makes a low punch into the air, causing a bolt of lightning to rush towards the creature.  Just before the bolt reaches its target, Rae rushes her right arm upwards and uppercuts the air.  Following the arc of her swing, the bolt of lightning makes a sharp turn upwards into the sky attempting to uppercut the creature square at its chin.

Using the upwards momentum of her swing, Rae then leaps into the air with a backflip.  She ends the backflip early midair by stretching her limbs out into an x, and whilst still midair takes three more swift jabs at the creature.  Each punch sending a smaller bolt of lightning towards the creature.  Ending her barrage of strikes, Rae then lands back on her feet.

Once more Theo waits, his breathing calming to a near standstill as he lines up his his shot. The echoing boom from his weapon sounds out as the first shot finds its mark. Sinking directly into the torso of the creature, whereas the second shot goes a little wide. In fact it zips by your Companion Praxius, narrowly missing the raging Barbarian. WHo is too angry to notice or care. 

Quiggley is holding their action for Praxius. 

Rae on the other hand all but vanishes from the battlefield, however those who are more perceptive than normal would be able to see the Zora's footprints as she dashes towards the enermy. What sounds like a roaring boom of thunder resounds from where her intitial strike hits the creature, you can all see the curl of lightning in her hand as her fist leaves the taught, fur covered flesh of the creature who seems to be howling in pain. No longer enjoying it. 

While her first strike simply bounces off the creature harmlessly. Her following pair of quick jabs find their mark and leave the creature stumbling back, it howls out into the falling snow. Its hood dropping to its broad shoulder. Revealing a tangled mess of matted fur and hair, paired with two jutting almost goatlike horns. Along with a rather vicious grin, baring jagged and pointed teeth. 

Well done Rae, that REALLY hurt. 

Praxius winces as the hook digs into his shoulder, but a smile crosses his face as he feels the chains wrap around him. That smile broadens as he hears Paca and feels the inspiring effect he bestows.

Magical energy once again covers his body and he disappears, re-appearing 30 feet away.

He looks slightly confused as if he didn't expect that to happen, and charges straight back towards Kram, whipping his great sword across him twice in quick succession. The weapon seeming like a feather in his hands even as it strikes apparently vicious blows.

The Moment Praxius vanishes away and the hook clatters to the frosted snow underfoot, Quiggley lets erupt of acidic slime upon the creature. However the Creature steps deftly to the side upon reocgnizing the fly, that was caught in his web is no longer there. Unknowingly dogding the acidic vomit as it burns through the snow. (22 Dex save on Kram) 

Praxius, Charging at the creature you register the acidic vomit produced by Quiggley and you are forced to alter your movement, causing your initial strike to glance off one of the chains harmlessly. However you reaffirm your footing and bring your blade back around for another deep wound into the creatures Torso. It howls out in pleasure once more, its gaze turning back towards you after you had escaped its trap. 

Cloud holds his blade high, delivering two quick slashes upon the back of the creature. The first of which leaves a trail of blood, gouging from the wound. Painting the white snow a crimson stain, Just in time for his second strike to dig into the Creatures left shoulder blade. 

Working on Krams Turn, Then its back to Paca!

The bloodied claw of Kram rakes across Praxius, leaving another visible wound that immediately begins to gouge crimson onto the freshly fallen snow. Just then it turns and rakes it's hooked weapon down into Cloud, the hook sinks into the Hylians shoulder and digs into his flesh. Kram releases the hook and grips the chain, a vicious grin curling across its gnarled and jagged teeth. 

Then the creature grabs a lump of coal from beneath its cloak, It holds the black rock firmly in its clawed hand. 

 Paca is Up!

Paca wonders to himself what this creature is up to, "Why a lump of coal, what is he going to do with it? Well I sure don't want to find out.." Paca then positions himself strategically to cast thunderwave at 3rd level. Lining it up so that the cube only hits Kram and none of his companions. 

Movement: 15 feet to G6

Action: 3rd level thunderwave DC16 Con save. 12 Thunder damage and pushed 10 feet. Half damage and no push on a save

Theo thinks quickly, “This creature is really powerful. I can’t let anything happen to anyone.” He then steadies his aim, and with bang 2 bullets shoot out. Except the first one jams his gun, and he can’t take the second shot.

Shot: rolled a 2, misfire.

"Hey, don't turn your back on me!", Praxius shouts as Kram focusses on Cloud. He then swings his great sword in a truly viscious arc, putting all his weight behind it and connecting ever so sweetly.

The first strike is so good, he not only reverses it and strikes again, but manages to swing the great sword a third time.

"Had enough yet?", he asks growls almost joyously at Kram.

Quiggley drops concentration on the acid since it missed and instead shoots the lump of coal the creature holds with a Fire Bolt.

Rae crosses her arms to brace herself from the thunderous boom of Paca's spell (not that she's in the area of effect, just doing so for flavor).  As the boom subsides, four more booms fill the air in rapid succession as Rae continues with another barrage of lightning fast jabs.

(If Kram succeeds his saving throw against Paca's thunderwave, Rae moves to D3 to flank with Paca.  If Kram fails and is pushed back, Rae will stay on C2.)

You all manage to communicate through a series of simple nods and gestures, without a single word passed between this relatively new group of companions. You all begin to encircle the creature known as Kram. As if on on que, Paca initiates what would be a round the creature would regret. Unleashing a wave of unrelenting force upon the creatures side, far enough away so that it does not effect any of his companions. The eruption of thunderous energy leaves a sparking arc on the side of Kram. However the creature is hardy and not easily moved.

Find your moment to attack, the rest of the group all surround and begin to barrage the creature with a flurry of strikes. While Quiggleys firebolt thuds dully on the creatures shoulder. Rae, Praxius and Cloud unleash a storm of attacks. Barraging the creature from multiple sides, you see blood erupting from fresh and old wounds as both Cloud and Praxius sink their mighty weapons into the creatures flesh. Simultaneously, Rae's quick strikes cause the creatures flesh to ripple and tear. All three of the melee users do infact miss one strike, their last strike as Kram holds the piece of coal high into the air. Nearly scraping Quiggleys boots.

It's gnarled and clawed fingers wrap around the lump of coal tightly, The black rock begins to glowa dull red. As if the piece of inert fuel is somehow heating up from the inside. With a vicious snarl, the creature spikes the black rock. Causing it to shatter and explode at its foot. You all feel a wave of heat rush over you, for a few moments you all feel like you are standing within a raging inferno. 

Everyone except Theo, Make a CON saving throw. You have to beat a 17 or take 21 points of Fire damage. Half on a success. 

It then grips its chain and pulls tightly, causing Cloud to let out a gasp of pain as he is lifted off his feat and swung around the creature. 

Rae, make a Dex Save to avoid being hit by Cloud as he is hurled through the air like a counterweight. 

Back to Paca

Quiggley makes a Con save 10+6= 16 which would have failed if not for Rae's Bless for +1= 17. Quiggley takes 10 fire damage.
