Theo also gives a short bow before the king and heads out of the hall, following the directions he was given. “Well, what do you guys think?” Theo asks. “Whoever got in here couldn’t have done it on their own. This sounds like someone planned attack on the city to distract people while they snuck into the castle to do whatever they did. I think someone had to let them in, but that’s just my thoughts.”
"I think Paca and Lizi should stay with the king and the princess while we get this lady. No one came out past us and we heard the scream as we entered. If there are no other exits from this throne room, then hidden or a side hall off the entrance hall while we were distracted by the Poe are the only things that make sense." Quiggley will reply as they head towards the entrance hall.
Once everyone leaves the throne room, Paca tells the king. "Sir, I believe the nearest deku sprout is in the eastern orchard just outside the city. We should wait until the princess is safe and cared for before we go find it. Or, if you find this to be urgent, I can go on your behalf and seek the answers to your questions."
Initially Ghirahim sits back in relative annoyance before mulling over your words. Looking as if inspiration has struck him he picks up his magnifying lens once more to take a closer look at the sap. "Din's fury, It is Draconic ash!" He lets out a breathy chuckle, looking up to you. "How in Hylia's wisdom did you know that?"
Theo,Quiggley and Rae,
Exiting the throne room the way you entered brings you back into the entrance hall. Following the instructions given to you by the King you turn left and enter into a smaller hall that leads further into the actual castle. Immediately you notice that the room at the end of the hall is lit, being the only source of light still burning within the castle. The door is left open, from this distance you can make out a Bookshelf that appears to be broken, the wood splintered with whatever tomes that was once on its shelves. Now torn and cast onto the carpeted floor. There is no movement. Whoever is leading, please make a Perception check.
Paca,
The King lets out a sigh, "Thank you for your offer Kokiri, truly I am grateful. However I believe it best if I comuunicate with the Deku Tree." He looks to his daughter, remorse and fear seeping from the pained expression of a father.

Ghirahim leans closer in, examining the single drop of the substance. "It means this can be ignited by impact, it requires no actual source of heat to combust." He puts the magnifying glass down and looks at the vial, set on his desk. "Something like this, if it were thrown would cause quite alot of damage. It's practically a spell that just about anyone could use."
"It's incredibly dangerous, something like this could bend steel and break stone." You hear a shatter of glass across the room, you turn. Your hand instinctively gripping the handle of your blade, Looking for the source of the noise. You see Dagoro picking up pieces of glass from a vase he had just knocked over.
Ghirahim stands up, shoveing his chair back. "BLASTED GORON, THAT VASE WAS FROM THE TIME BEFORE THE CALAMITY" He calls out over the room as he pushes pass you, walking towards Dagoro.
Theo,Rae and Quiggley,
Theo, taking the lead you walk quietly down the hallway. Your footsteps muffled by a length of carpet, taking your time as you are unsure if there is anymore danger present within the castle. You note that every door within the hallway is closed except for the one on the end, trying one handle you find it locked. Rae attempts another and signals that it too is locked shut, You look down the hall and into the open doorway.
Standing in the doorway, Looking back at you is a individual of small physicality, skin-tight dark clothing covers them. While their face is covered by a cloth mask, you are able to see a pair of gleaming crimson eyes watching you and your companions. You point to the individual, the others turn to look but the person is gone. Whoever that was, they have vanished from view.
Paca,
A chill creeps down your spine as you stand with the King in the otherwise empty throne room. Lizi whispers into your ear. "Paca....somethings off."

Paca feels uneasy now. Something is wrong. This all seems wrong. "I have a bad feeling right now. Like you aren't who you say you are. Tell me what is really going on here." paca then pulls out his staff of magic missiles and casts blade ward on himself. Paca then says to Lizi quietly. "Go get the others, quick"
Not liking the setup of bait at the end of a corridor of locked doors and disappearing bait at that, Quiggley uses his sorcerous skill (point) and casts Detect Magic doubling the range. The spell wouldn't let him see through the doors or find an invisible person, but it would tell him if something magical was going on behind the doors or in the hall. It also would let him know what type of magic.
Quiggley also tries to signal that Rae should take the lead and Theo should cover the hall with his weapons.
Lizi nods and leaves your shoulder, fluttering out of the throne room in search of your companions. The 'King' drops the still hand of the Princess, a wickedly vile grin spreading on his face, stretching so wide it threatens to tear the skin. He turns to you, taking a step towards you. "Thank you Kokiri." There is a flash of blinding light in front of you, you reel back and cover your eyes. Suddenly you hear the unmistakable metallic clang of a Lantern.
After a moment your senses come back to you, just in time to witness the poe you had seen before and thought dealt with. Vanish into the marble wall of the throne room. You ready yourself for an attack, looking all around in hopes of catching your attacker moving from cover. However the Poe does not re-appear.

Paca looks around and listens for any noise or magical ripple of an invisible hostile. He then also looks to see if the princess is still there. He then shouts "Come out here coward! Don't run from me!" It took Paca everything to say those words as he is terrified. This is far beyond what he thought this day would bring. The only thing that allows these words to come out is the safety of the princess.
Indeed, the Princess is still sat in the throne. Still in the state which you had discovered her. The seconds seem to drag on, feeling more like hours as you watch for any sign of the Undead. Eventually you lower your guard, sensing that the Undead is no longer a threat. You look to the entry, gazing out into the large hall upon which you entered. You do no see any sign of your companions or Lizi.

"Hey, calm down", Praxius says with voice raised. "He has helped to divert these bombs from their intended target. I would wager had he not a lot more than that vase would be broken right now".
"Now what is to be done about this turn of events? Were these vials meant to kill the commander, or for the commander to use?".
Theo brings out his Pepperbox, looking around for enemies. He whispers to Quiggley, “I saw someone in the empty room but now they’re gone. They could come from anywhere, keep your guard up.”
Paca, learning now that he should never say anything about the deku tree to anyone ever again shouts out, "Good thing I didn't tell him the real location!" He thinks that maybe the creature is still within ear shot.
Ghirahim eitehr does not hear you, or does and chooses to ignore it. Looking upon the mess Dagoro had accidentially caused as the Goron attempts to gather all the pieces of the broken vase. Letting out an exasperated sigh, the Hylian waves his hand. Causing Dagoro to stop and sheepishly step away, for as large and powerful as the Goron is, he is not one for conflict.
"I'd wager they were meant to kill the commander." The familiar voice of Knight Feld calls out, stepping out from a door to the eastern side of the room. Fully armored, the familiar sky-blue cloak draped over her shoulders. She finishes affixing her bracer to her left forearm as she walks out into the middle of the room. Shooting Ghirahim an annoyed glance before turning to face you. "In any case, we'll have the chance to ask him ourselves soon enough." She looks over to Dagoro and then back to you.
"We are going out to the field."
Paca,
There is no sign of the creature and after a few still moments, you are fairly certain that while it may have been still within earshot of you. If it is still lurking in the castle, it is not making itself known. You stand alone, for the first time since arriving in the city. Lizi is not perched on your shoulder, your new found companions are seeking out.....Wait. You turn on your heel when you realize, the Poe is the one who instructed your friends to seek out the Library.
Theo, Quiggley and Rae.
As Theo takes up a position in the rear, readying himself to fire on anything that moves. You inch closer and closer to the open door, the room still lit by a warm orange light. In the knowledge that someone or something may be waiting for an opportunity to strike, you keep your guard up. Looking in all directions for any sign of an attack. "HEY........HEY!!!!" From behind you, you hear the familiar voice of Lizi. Paca's fairy companion. Turning around you see the orb of green light fluttering towards you, erratic in her movements. "Paca needs help! The King wasnt the King!" She exclaims.
The Light in the library goes out, now the room is dark.
Paca moves over to the princess and sits next to her still body. "I will protect you princess Zelda. I will not leave your side until someone is able to watch over you better than I can and then I will find who did this and bring you back." Paca sits next to her with himself ready for any attack or unsuspecting guest. "Lizi should be back soon with the others." He whispers softly to the princess. "Then we can figure out what to do"
