Rae steps up beside Quiggley, "Mornin' Dagoro, I see slaying bokoblins wasn't enough for you."

The yellow zora allows Quiggley his turn at the arm wrestling competition, taking the opportunity to size up the rest of the competition.  Afterwards, Rae steps up to the table for a turn.

The Goron shurgs, giving a nod to Rae as he places his tree trunk like arm up on the stone pedestal, Quiggley immediately takes hold of the Gorons hand and pushes with all of his might. The Goron, unaware of Quiggleys attempt first engages in conversation with Rae. 

"RAE, great to see you folk again! The Bokoblins were just the start, These contests are the whole reason Im attending the festival!" He bellows out, before noticing Quiggley attempting to push his arm over. "Oh, Im sorry small one. I didnt realize we had begun." Effortlessly, the Goron moves Quiggleys arm into their favor. Nearly forcing the small Fairy to stumble off the crate. 

"Perfectly alright. Now we're at it." Quiggley struggles to reply. While throwing his weight into it and twisting his hip like he would for a hip throw.

Dagoro, looming over this tiny Fairy in this very Davis vs Goliath matchup, Watching the strain on the small creatures face as he desperately attempts to budge the Gorons massive hand even a little. Without even flexing his impressive muscles, calmly looks upon the fairy. "I'm sorry Little one." Effortlessly taps the back of Quiggleys hand against the top of the stone pedestal, not with enough force to hurt as he had with the Goron he previously faced.

"You have heart small one, Perhaps on another day you may have bested me." The Goron lightly pats your back, leading you away from the Pedestal Quiggley. Before returning, waiting for his next challenger.

Out of instinct, Rae moves her hand to catch Quiggley as he nearly stumbles from the goron's force.  As the arm wrestling match finishes, Rae takes her position across the table from Dagoro and raises her hand up to invite his own.  Rae smiles, "I suppose you don't mind giving me a try?"

Strength check for first bout: 19

"Thank yoou.." Quiggley says as he stumbles from the gentle pat. "for the match"

As Rae catches him after his pat and steps up Quiggley starts cheering, "Go on Rae! You can Dooo it!"

Dagoro welcomes your challenge, you hand is completely enveloped by his own Rae. After a tense moment in the neutral position, you both push against eachothers hands. Immediately you take the lead, showing strength that surpasses that of the large Goron, forcing him into your favor. 

Another strength check. 

Feeling the initial match go in her favor, Rae carries the momentum.  She summons every ounce of strength in her being in an attempt to finish the match quickly.

Strength Check: 22 (Crit!)

You both lock eyes, Rae staring up at the much larger Dagoro with a fierce determination. While at first glance it may appear the much smaller Zora would be an easy win for the larger Goron, she holds him firm in her favor with neither able to move the others arm. Dagoro smiles down upon you Rae, the friendly demeanor of the Goron shining threw even in the midst of this contest. 

Equalling your determination in his own, a haze of red ,swirls in his deep black eyes. His face contorts into one of anger, fury. Dagoro goes into a Rage. 

Another Strength check.

Rae starts to run out of steam, with the previous bout calling forth everything she had.  From the sidelines she heard a cheer and a tune from Paca, the bard's actions seemed to invigorate her.  With that, the yellow zora carried on as best she could.

Paca, watching this intense match between the huge piece of muscle that is Dagoro and the his new friend Rae, takes out his pan flute and plays a tune. Low dramatic allegro with sharp high tones. 

Bardic Inspiration on Rae

In the midst of this heated battle, both the Goron and the Zora facing off in a contest of strength. The Much smaller Zora showing resistance against the Goron at the beginning, however her footing slips under her. Causing Dagoro to gain back some ground, now their arms raise back to the Neutral position. Dagoro's rage fades, his eyes becoming clear once more. 

"You're much stronger than you look" He looks pleasantly surprised by the contest you are providing Rae. The crowd are mixed, half are cheering for the Goron while the other half are cheering for the Zora. In the long history between the two races, there have been many contests between the two. Now the friendly rivalry between them is being represented by this surprisingly even battle of strength. 

Another Strength check. 

With their arms back in neutral position, Rae finds some room to talk, "Thank you friend, and you are as strong as you look."

Strength Check: 16

The Gorons humble demeanor shifts as he leans into his arm, forcing the lock down into his favor. Rae's arm begins to tremble under the immense weight of Dagoro's massive frame, With the Goron now taking the superior position. A visible bead of sweat rolls off the Gorons brow, You are certainly giving him a challenge Rae. 

One more check, this could be it. Or Will Rae rally from behind? 

Pan flute intensifies

Bardic Inspiration on Rae again

Rae hears the tune coming from Paca's pan flute.  The yellow zora is perplexed by how the kokiri can get such powerful tunes out of such an instrument.  It reminds her of the thunderous ambiance of her homeland.  Though she feels her defeat may be close at hand, Rae puts everything she has into what could be her final bout.

Strength: 12

The soft sounds of the flute floating threw the crowd becomes something more....energetic. With a certain electricity pulsing threw her, Rae puts all of her strength into one last push. Attempting to regain the upper hand, However the Goron. Also feeling the same energy floating threw the air leans down onto his arm, signaling the end for the contest. "WELL DONE RAE" He bellows out before slamming the back of Rae's hand on the stone pedestal, raffirming his top position in the arm wrestling contest. The as of yet undefeated Dagoro pats Rae on her shoulder, grateful for the challenge she had given him. 

"You put up more of a fight than most Rae, Nothing to be ashamed of." He seems genuine, raising your hand as you step out of the ring formed by the crowd. People are in a state of shock and amazement that Rae had put up so much of a challenge for the Goron, applauding her attempt. 

The yellow zora stands up and winds her arm in a circle, allowing the muscles to relax.  She smiles wide at Dagoro, "A fine match indeed, Dagoro!  I very much enjoyed the experience."

Rae regroups with her peers, turning towards Paca, "I appreciate the assist Paca.  It is wonderful music you play on that little instrument of yours.  Reminds me of my homeland."

“Well, that was a show of strength!” Theo says to Rae. “There’s no way I’d even come close to beating him like you did. Plus it was nice to see Dagoro again. Now, which way to the pies?” Theo sniffs the air.
