Attempting to help clear the tunnel and get access to this abomination, Sayax decides to move into the revolting room as he wants to help protect his friends and knows that Vlad will not be able to handle this disgust. Carefully stepping so he doesn't get into the littered bones and who knows what else, he stays near the door and leaves a clear opening beside him for others to fire at the creature. Casting sacred flame to enlighten the creature with radiant damage
Tensing up at the sounds coming from behind the door, Merrick puts himself back into a heightened state. Calm, happy thoughts... Calm, happy thoughts. He closed his eyes, slipped into his trance, and flowed into his stance.
He stumbles towards Vladimir and slaps into the wall. Tucking in his elbows, he rolls along it gracefully as if he were a wave washing upon the sand. Reaching the far wall, he leans his back and neck away to take in the room. Now upside-down to his perspective, he sees a big toothy frown staring back at him with a piece of flesh hanging up.
Merrick holds back the bile rising in his throat as he turns around and begins to defensively guard his appendages from suffering a similar fate to those on the floor.
Drawing the familiar swirl of dirt and dust together, Laderan unleashes the blast towards the creature before skipping past Vlad further down the corridor, glancing quickly around the next corner as he moves, all pretense at stealth abandoned, hoping that some of the others can form up in the narrow confines. The blast flies recklessly across the room, flying far wide of the undead.
The moment Sayax steps foot onto the blood-slicked floor, he can feel an impending sense of doom overtake him, as though the blood soaking everything were his own... He nonetheless casts sacred flame to enlighten the creature with radiant damage.

Reaching the far wall, he leans his back and neck away to take in the room. Now upside-down to his perspective, he sees a big toothy frown staring back at him with a piece of flesh hanging up.

As everyone makes noises and rush in. Catching the coattails of the rabbit charging FURTHER into the unknown while folks file into a room seemingly filled with an enemy or more. Ashtear has a moment of panic but follows in with the others, pausing at the doorway seeing a rather henious creature, she opts to try the new bolts out, drawing a magic one and firing at the creature. Glancing again at Laderan, Ashtear follows them that dived into the unknown.

A look of concern flashes over Oranir's features as he hears the initial commotion inside the chamber, he picks up his pace towards the door to get a look, "It that a...?" the wide-eyed wizard quickly interrupts himself and sets his hands into motion, invoking again the clawed apparition he had before, "Don't let it touch you!"
((Moving 10ft to the chamber's door, casting Chill Touch14 for 3 necrotic damage (and it can't regain hit points until the start of your next turn. Until then, the hand clings to the target. To the east, Ashtear can peer into the northern room. It is filled with fine red mist. At the center of the chamber, a blood-soaked statue of a horned and winged demon vomits a fountain of blood into the air, gathering in a bubbling pool around his legs.

Ashtear starts to head in to the room-pausing noting the mist and smell of blood. "Urgh.. Wha?" and tries to get a good look from outside the room to determine what it is, and if its dangerous.
d20 Gonna roll aas an action. Hoping to note if the mist is dangerous, or if its a trap. In a general "thats bad in there" I'm willing to toss a generic bolt in to see if the wood cracks or is damaged if need be.

Vladimir wakes himself from his reverie. "This is what you trained for" he tells himself. Rushing forward to flank the beast, he finds himself wading through bones, rotting flesh, and viscera. Swinging on the creature, he unleashes his battle cry, "THIS ROOM IS DISGUSTING!"
Appreciating Ashtear moving up past the melee going on in the adjoining room, Laderan will edge past her and seeing a gap, poke his head again into the core filled room. Quicklytyrying to spy a line towards the creature now engaged by the other party members, he creates his sphere and blasts at their latest undead foe once more. His attention is drawn to the firbolg though, and the completely unnatural stillness "Try not to get hit!" The warlock summons up his earthen powers again, whipping up a cloud of dust and earth around Merrick, discouraging anything from attacking him.
Turning back to Ashtear, Laderan will try to catch her eyes and indicate he is going to try to open the door, testing whether it is unlocked. He does so with only marginal care, having already devoted some of his attention to aiding the others, the fountain is curious though, and a thought suddenly occurs too late to stop his push at the door, "Ashtear, best be wary of tentacles under whatever that liquid is!"

Merrick groggily awakens from the floor and throws an upraised thumb into the air, hoping his scaled compatriot will see it. He feels a sharp pain at his side and quickly glances down to see a massive rend along his sidebody. Though his greyish flesh appeared to be rapidly healing from the wound, the sting was quickly snapping him back to reality. That, and Vladimir's cries for cleanliness.
He puts his weight onto his staff as he tries to stand back up, but realizes he cannot move. A seeping paralysis sets into his veins and he looks on in horror at the ghastly undead encroaching on him.
