Art is feeling a pit of fear and guilt in his stomach and also stares at his feet in the elevator. You all are now on your way to Jenkins street when about half way there you hear some clattering trash cans in a dark alleyway and a man swearing. Will you investigate?
You would have needed to roll a critical miss to fail this, you see two men dressed in robes with the cults symbol on it speaking to each other deeper down in the alleyway. What do you do?
I'd firstly like to relay this information to Nathanael and Art. I'll point at one of the cultists which I'll attempt to sneakily take down. I'd like to stealth up a bit and stay hidden and fire upon them with my crossbow the cultist I pointed at. I'll roll stealth and then let me know if I beat their passive perception. I rolled a 15+8 so a 23 for stealth.
Truly delightful so now in position I'd like to fire a crossbow bolt at the cultist I had pointed to hoping that the two of you will apprehend the other one so we can get info out of them. Ok since how I'm unseen I'll roll with advantage, so I rolled a 13+6 so a 19. Did I hit that cultist?
ABSOLUTELY, when you hit him Art ran over to the other one to try and hold him down... Art failed in doing so (lets hope Nathanael gets him though) and time to roll for initiative.
Alright I'll roll damage on the cultist I hit. I rolled an 8+4 for crossbow damage and a +3 for sneak damage so altogether the damage done to that cultist was 15 damage. Also for initiative I rolled 18+4 so a 22.
Well....................................................................................................................................................................................................I should have upped charisma, Yes it succeeds, barely
I use the rest of my turn to move 30 feet closer to him
Okay then, it is now arts turn and he is going to punch the cultist and critical hits him for 1 damage, he hits and the cultist then opportunity attacks Art by punching him back and he hits dealing 1 damage then attacks with the Scimitar he has and he hits dealing 3 damage, Art is now bloodied and now its back to Nestors turn.
Well we need to apprehend this cultist so we can get information out of them. So I would like to sneak up as best I can to attempt to get the jump on him to grapple him. I'm not sure though if there are things to hide behind as I make my way down to this cultist to attempt to use my sneaking to possibly give advantage. Anyway I'd like to roll stealth and if that gives me advantage on trying to sneak up and grapple them then awesome but if not no bother at all. I rolled a 2+8 so a 10 for stealth. Alright I'll assume that won't be successful so I'll just use my bonus action to dash if that's needed to reach this cultist (not sure if he is 35 feet or 70 feet away from me). Anyway will roll to grapple the cultist so I rolled a 17-1 so a 16 athletics to grapple. Just let me know if I beat their athletics check and if I needed to use a dash there or not because if I didn't need to use my dash and I fail the athletics check against them I will definitely being using my bonus action to hide.
Alright then very fun, did I need to use my dash to reach this cultist? Just need to know if I'll disengage as bonus action or if that is the end of my turn there.

I would like to investigate, I rolled a 4+8 so a 12.

The man rolled a dirty 20.

nope
Alright then I'd like to disengage and end my turn then.
Okay then he is now disengaged. It is now Nathanaels turn.
